Gas generator with a rotating ash pan, especially for lignite and lignite.
The subject of the invention relates to a gas generator, in particular for lignite and lignite, which is provided with a peculiar device for the separation and removal of the slag.
The known gas generators with automatic removal of the ash and slag work in such a way that the ash and slag are pressed from the middle part of the ash pan of any shape by an eccentric setting to the edge of the shell and thus to the shell of the gas generator, and that one A plate attached to the same place, held at a certain working angle, which protrudes under the generator casing, comes into effect when the ash tray is turned like a rotary knife and peeled off the outermost crust of the slag, whereupon the peeled slag parts on the inclined surface of the plate over the edge the grate tray.
In this known embodiment it is necessary for the eccentric cone or cylinder to protrude into the fire zone, as a result of which the iron structures, whose cooling is always inadequate, suffer very much from the stress in the glowing state.
In addition, the gasification of heavily slagging brown coals and lignites with the known gas generators is not economically feasible because the slag accumulates in the core of the generator and interferes with the gasification.
The aim of the present invention is to eliminate the shortcomings mentioned and to enable the gasification of brown coals and lignites in an economical manner.
In the drawing, FIG. 1 is a longitudinal cross section of the gas generator, FIG. 2 is a top view of the base plate with the shear transport knives.
3 shows a partial cross-section, in relation to FIGS. 1 and 2 on an enlarged scale, while
Fig. 4 shows a section along line x-x of Fig. 3 in plan view
The gas generator is closed in a known manner with a rotatable slag bowl which also serves as a water seal. This cinder bowl List is provided with arched transport and shear blades G, which always remain submerged in water and the outer ends of which protrude under the generator casing F.
In this form, the mode of operation of the slag bowl is similar to that of a milling cutter, which processes the lower supporting surface of the slag over the entire cross-section of the generator, with the stressed working surfaces and edges of the shearing and transport knives always remaining under water and being completely cooled.
The sheared-off slag parts slide on the knives at the threat of the slag vault according to the circumference of the slag, whereby the slag parts are gradually piled up in this space over the entire circumference.
In order to divert the slag at one point, a known helical sliding surface 3 is provided which is attached to the outer surface of the generator.
This screw surface 3 does not protrude into the gas generator and may only be pushed so deep into the space L that the shearing and transport cutters can just pass by. As a result, the slag parts pressed out by the latter are continuously guided over the outer edge of the shell and transported out with the aid of the sliding surface 3 at one point.
