Device for preheating combustion air for combustion systems,
Heaters or the like.
The subject of the present invention is a device for preheating combustion air for furnaces, heaters or the like. In which the known principle is applied, the combustion chamber of the furnace warm air, for. B. from the upper layers of the boiler room or machine room to supply. According to the present invention, this principle is used in combination with a condensation system, the essence of the invention being that the exhaust steam from a steam engine or the like is passed through a container which is used to guide the heated combustion air.
The device is designed in such a way that the exhaust steam flowing through this container gives off its inherent heat for further heating of the combustion air and is simultaneously de-oiled so that an oil-free condensate is obtained in the condenser connected to the container. To achieve this, according to the invention, a standing, in the poorer air layers of the boiler or. Nacelle protruding container connected to the air supply duct leading to the combustion system, in which the steam enters below and pach coating the upright pipes for the air flow above into the pipeline leading to the condensation system flows out.
In addition to the warming of the combustion air by the warm exhaust steam, this also ensures that the steam is de-oiled by brushing the long pipes in the container and an oil-free condensate is obtained.
An example embodiment of the device according to the present invention appears in the drawing. The container a is supplied with steam from below through the pipe b, while its discharge takes place through the pipe c to the condenser. The pipe c has a branch il leading into the open air, through which, in the event of a failure of the condensation pump connected to the pipe o, the vapor can flow out into the open air. The pipe socket e serves to drain the oil.
Against the direction of flow of the steam, warm air of oil is sucked in through the container, which flows off below in a highly heated state and from there to the steam
EMI1.1
According to the present invention, the container is expediently set up directly in the boiler house, so that the upper end of the same protrudes into warm air layers and takes the air to be further preheated therefrom.
If the installation in the boiler house is not possible due to lack of space, the tank a can be set up in the vicinity of the boiler house, whereby the upper end of the tank a is connected to the upper warm air layers of the boiler by means of a pipe. In this case, a thorough insulation of the container from the outside must be ensured.
