Sorter for wood pulp, Zelistoff and the like.
The invention relates to sorters for wood clay, pulp and the like, in which spreading and squeezing devices brush over the screen and sort the fabric.
In these sorters, the spreading and squeezing devices consist of wire brushes, which are subject to very great wear and tear, because in order to achieve a reasonably thorough sorting and not to allow too much usable wood pulp to get into the drain, the brushes had to stroke the sieves sharply. In addition, in all of these sorters the fineness of the material could only be regulated by the coarser or finer perforation of the sieve, while a particular fine or coarse setting is not possible with a given sieve.
Avoid all of these disadvantages. is the purpose of the invention which is mainly to be achieved thereby; that the sorting screen can be positioned against the coating and squeezing device, which also includes the fact that the coating and squeezing device is made up of elastic strips that move parallel to the screen and reach over it (for example made of rubber or covered with felt, leather or the like) exists that have a slightly squeezing effect on the fabric and push it through the sieve.
With this device it is possible, either with the sieve loosely positioned against the agitator, to feed the substance only slightly over the sieve with the help of the rubber strips and to act on it in a similar way as in the household d. uf a sauce that is passed through a sieve with a spoon. so that only the finest microfibre particles pass through, or the adjustment of the sieve can be sharpened so that, depending on the case, larger particles are also pressed through the sieve.
The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the new sorter, namely: FIG. 1 shows a section in the direction of the inlet and outlet through the sorter and FIG. 2 shows the section along line II-II of FIG. 1.
In a trough-shaped housing a a semicircular sieve b is arranged which can be pivoted about its one end point lf and to which a drum f is provided concentrically in bearings g of the housing. The free end b2 of the sieve b hangs on one or more support rods 1 which pass through the housing wall and have threads so that the sieve b can be raised on one side and pivoted about its pivot point b1 with the aid of handwheels tn, n.
On the surface of the drum f are preferably parallel to the drum axis strips h made of an elastic material, for. B. rubber, consisting, arranged. By

The outlet r / for (he coarse pieces of wood and splinters is lower than the former, and the outlet e for the fine wood pulp is connected below the sieve b. In front of the inlet c, an inlet box k is arranged to let the wood clay sit on the sieve Lid i closes the trough at the top. Spray pipes q have the task of washing the still usable parts out of the coarse substances on the sieve and preventing the sieve from clogging.
Instead of the drum, there can also be an endless belt that runs over two support rollers mounted in the housing; The rubber strips are then attached to this tape.
In these cases, the trough and the sieve must be of elongated shape.
The mode of action is as follows:
The pulp enters the trough at c and the usable material is slowly released from the
