Connection of the spars with the pillars in road railings made of reinforced concrete.

The common connections of the spars with the pillars in road railings made of reinforced concrete have the main disadvantage that in order to replace even a single, e.g. broken spar, several pillars have to be carefully lifted and the spar ends, which are usually concreted in, must be
 EMI1.1
Hand are. But even then, the replacement is time-consuming, cumbersome and associated with a risk of damage to the adjoining railing parts.

According to the present invention, the above-mentioned inconveniences are remedied in an extremely simple manner in that each spar end is loosely inserted into a step-shaped recess of the top surface of the column that is adapted to its cross-section and is open at the top, and in this seat by a column head and the end of the spar the former is held easily detachably attached cap.

The drawing illustrates the subject matter of the invention, for example, namely, FIGS. 1 and 2 show it in two mutually perpendicular vertical views, one partially in section.

The top of each column a has a step-shaped recess b into which the end of the reinforced concrete spar c fits and is simply loosely inserted from the front. In this seat formed in this way, the end of the spar is held by a cap d, preferably made of sheet metal, encompassing this and the head of the column a, which is easily detachably fastened by one (or more) screw bolts e penetrating the column a.

As is easy to see, individual spars c can be exchanged easily at any time and by anyone by removing and replacing the cap d after previously loosening or fastening the screw bolt e. This connection is an extremely simple and reliable one.
