EinrichtungzumBetriebevonKinematographentheatern.

Establishment for the operation of cinematograph theaters.
It is known that in cinematograph theaters, in order to achieve a clear, effective image in the required size, the projection apparatus must be designed and adjusted according to the distance of the projection screen opposite it. Blows! the essential, so far unresolved problem occurs that only those viewers who are in the vicinity of the projection apparatus or
are furthest away from the picture, can observe it in its full optical effect, whereas those viewers who are close to the projection screen only distort the displayed picture from a viewing angle that is too wide, not vivid, with light falloff, not effective and with fatigue and damage to the Eyes see, whereby the full purpose of the demonstration is technically not achieved for this part of the audience and also the economic disadvantage arises. that the front rows of seats are inferior, which amounts to an irrational uneconomic use of the auditorium.
The present invention aims to remedy these technical and economic deficiencies and is achieved by departing from the previous general arrangement, which, as is known, consists of a projection apparatus throwing the image onto a projection screen which all of the viewers are facing. on the other hand, the new arrangement is made, which essentially consists in that two projection apparatus project their image on different sides of the auditorium and the rows of seats in the auditorium are partly facing one, partly facing the andrew projection screen, namely so that each one ) Projection screens defornteren rows of seats are facing this projection screen.
With full utilization of the available local space and without losing the number of seats, you get two groups of spectators in the same local, whose people are at a suitable distance from the relevant projection screens so that they all see the picture clearly and visually without effort. These
The arrangement is particularly advantageous in the case of spectator rooms whose floor plan has a parallelogram, in the direction of the longitudinal axis on two opposite sides of the locality. In the case of a polygonal floor plan of the auditorium, this new combination can be in the direction of the main axis of the polygon or

different axes of the polygon is arranged and operated.
A schematic representation of this arrangement is shown in FIG. 1, in which P1, P2 the two projection apparatus, S1, S2 the associated seat row groups
EMI1.2
by operating the apparatus, because it is possible together, it is simplified and, due to the smaller distance from the screens, the light source and the potential are weaker
EMI1.3
Projection light rays are avoided.
The two projection apparatus can either be operated individually as usual and also each show different images, or for the purpose of achieving this
EMI1.4
also under certain circumstances by means of synchronously acting devices, such as transmissions from one device to another, electric motors with regulating devices or similar known means, the same film images on the two projection screens simultaneously
EMI1.5
The same purpose as with the arrangement described so far and illustrated in FIG. 1 can also be approximately achieved in that, in order to save the operating costs of the second projection apparatus, only one projection apparatus is provided, the projection screen of which is opposite a mirror S (as FIG. 2 illustrates).
