Verfahren zur Darstellung schwarzer basischer Disazofarbstoffe.
Es wurde gefunden, dass ein wertvoller schwarzer basischer sekundärer Diaazofarbstoff erhalten wird, wenn in dem Verfahren des Stammpatentes Nr. 58780 das dort zur Anwendung gebrachte 1. 8-DiaminonaphtaIin durch l-Amino-8-oxynaphtalin ersetzt wird.
Der äuf diese Weise gewonnene Farbstoff färbt Kunstseide im neutralen oder sauren Bade schön grünstichig schwarz.

Es war demnach nicht vorauszusehen, dass die wesentlich einfachere und an auxochromen Gruppen ärmere Kombination mit n-Toluidin in Mittelstellung schwarz färbt.
Da solche basische schwarze Azofarbstoffe bisher nicht existieren, wird durch den \ orllegenden Farbstoff ein wesentlicher technischer Fortschritt erzielt.
Die Darstellung ist dieselbe wie in dem Stammpatente.
Beispiel.
Mttn) ässt die Diazolösung des Trimethylammonium-phenylazo-Mt-toluidias in eine gekühlte Lösung von ! 6 kg 1.8-Ammonaphtol in 12 kg Salzsäure (19 B#) und etwa 600 l Wasser einlaufen und arbeitet wie im Stammpatente auf. Der Farbstoff ist ein schwarzes Pulver. Er färbt Kunstseide schön grunschwarz.

It has been found that a valuable black basic secondary diaazo dye is obtained if, in the process of parent patent No. 58780, the 1,8-diaminonaphthalene used there is replaced by 1-amino-8-oxynaphthalene.
The dye obtained in this way colors artificial silk in a neutral or acidic bath with a beautiful greenish black.

It was therefore not foreseeable that the much simpler combination with n-toluidine in the middle position, poorer in auxochromic groups, would turn black.
Since such basic black azo dyes do not exist up to now, a significant technical advance is achieved with the original dye.
The representation is the same as in the parent patent.
