Pistons for internal combustion engines.
The invention relates to pistons for internal combustion engines which are provided with at least one sliding shoe. The aim of the invention is to give the sliding blocks a particularly useful shape and to simplify and make the production of the entire piston cheaper.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown, namely FIG. 1 shows a partially sectioned side view of a piston provided with a sliding block and FIG. 2 shows a section along the line 2-2 of FIG. 1 seen from above.
. 4 is the piston of an internal combustion engine, B its sliding shoe. The outer surface of the piston. 1 is within the center angle? shaped according to a cylinder surface a1, the central axis of which corresponds to the axis of the piston. 1 is eccentric. The crescent-shaped sliding shoe B lies completely against this cylinder surface and is rigidly connected to the piston A by screws C. The sliding shoe B boxitz at its lower end a nose b1, which engages in a corresponding catch of the piston and has

can expand freely in its longitudinal direction.
The significant advantage of the piston described is that both the surface a1 and the two lateral surfaces of the slide shoe B can be machined by turning. Milli is thus able to produce the surfaces mentioned very precisely in a simple manner. In addition, since the entire inner lateral surface of the sliding shoe B lies completely on the surface a1 of the piston A, bending and swinging of the sliding shoe B is effectively prevented. If the piston or
