Hutklemme.
Den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet eine Hutklemme, welche dazu bestimmt ist, den Hut auf dem Kopfe festzuklemmen, um ein Herabwehen desselben bei heftigem Winde zu verhüten.
Die Erfindung besteht ihrem Wesen nach darin, dass zwei federnd gegeneinandergedrückte, auf das Hutleder aufschiebbare Klemmbacken durch eine an dem einen Backen sitzende, den Hut durchdringende Schraube auseinandergedrückt werden können, so dass dadurch die Hutöffnung verengt und der Hut an den Kopf fest angedrückt wird.
In der Zeichnung ist der Erfindungsgegenstand in einer beispielsweisen Ausfüllrungs- form dargestellt, und zwar zeigt : Fig. 1 die Hutklemme in Ansicht, Fig. 2 dieselbe in Draufsicht und Fig. 3 die Anordnung derselben an einem Hute im Längsschnitt.
Die Hutklemme besteht aus zwei Klemmbacken und 2, die vorteilhaft aus federndem Metall, Zelluloid oder dgl. hergestellt und an ihrem einen Ende miteinander fest verbunden sind. Uegebenenfalls können die beiden Backen aus einem einzigen Streifen geeigneter Materialien durch Umbiegen hergestellt werden. Die freien Enden beider Klemmbacken sind zu Querstegen 3 ausgebildet, die der Rundung der Hutöffnung entsprechend gekrümmt sind.
Die äussere der beiden Klemmbacken trägt eine Ml1tterhülse 4, in welche eine Kopfschraube 5 eingeführt werden kann.
Die Hutklemmo wird auf das Hutleder derart aufgeschoben, dass der innere Klemm- backen 1 ausserhalb des Hutleders 6 und der äussere Klemmbacken 2 zwischen Hut und und Ilutleder zu liegen kommt. Hiebei wird die Mutterhtilse 4 durch ein am Hute anzubringendes Loch eingeschoben, so dass sie an der Aussenseite des Hutes etwas hervorragt und das Einschrauben der Kopfschraube 5 ermöglicht.
Wird nun nach Aufsetzen des Hutes die Schraube 5 tiefer hineingeschraubt, so drückt e gegen den inneren Klemmbacken l und presst enselben gegen den Kopf. Hiedurch wird ein Herabfallen des Hutes selbst bei dem heftigsten Sturme unmöglich gemacht.
