Verfahren zum Biegen von Rohren aus Stahl, Eisen und dgl.
Den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet ein Verfahren, Rohre verschiedenster Dimension und dünner Wand in kleinstem Radius kalt oder warm zu biegen, speziell die Umkehrbögen an Überhitzerrohren herzustellen.
Das Verfahren ist folgendes : An die Stelle, wo das Rohr gebogen werden soll, wird im geraden Rohr ein Kupferstab, welcher vorher weich gemacht wurde, oder ein Stab von sonstigem geeigneten Metall, von dem-Rohre entsprechendem Querschnitt und von der Länge des herzustellenden Bogens geschoben. Das Rohr wird hierauf aussen an der Biegestelle mit einer Gasstichflamme oder einer sonstigen Wärmequelle bis zum dunkelroten Zustand erwärmt und auf die eine oder andere Art gebogen, z. B. durch eine Vorrichtung mit Schablone oder zwei Walzen. Nach dem Biegen wird der Bogen weisswarm erwärmt, wodurch der Füllstab schmilzt und ausfliesst.
Durch dieses Verfahren wird der Querschnitt des Rohres an der Biegestelle nicht verengt.

The subject matter of the invention is a method of bending pipes of various dimensions and thin walls in the smallest radius, cold or warm, specifically producing the reverse bends on superheater pipes.
The procedure is as follows: At the point where the pipe is to be bent, a copper rod, which has been previously softened, is inserted in the straight pipe, or a rod of other suitable metal, with a cross-section corresponding to the pipe and the length of the arch to be produced pushed. The tube is then heated to the dark red state on the outside of the bending point with a gas flame or other heat source and bent in one way or another, e.g. B. by a device with a template or two rollers. After bending, the sheet is warmed up to a warm white temperature, causing the filler rod to melt and flow out.
This process does not narrow the cross-section of the pipe at the bending point.
