Vorrichtung zur Erzeugung von Stössen im Wasser für Unterseesignale und dgl.
Vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung, welche die Erzeugung von äusserst rasch verlaufenden und sehr wirksamen Stössen oder Stosswellen im Wasser gestattet, wie solche zur Übermittelung von Unterseesignalen und dgl. mit Vorteil verwendet werden können.
Gemäss vorliegender Erfindung werden die Stosswellen mittels eines unter Wasser t getauchten elektrolytischen Stromunterbrechers erzeugt, dessen Entladungen bei entsprechender Stromstärke heftige, äusserst rasch verlaufende Stölie erzeugen.
Die Zeichnung zeigt ein Ausführungsbeispiel der den Erfindungsgegenstand bildenden j Vorrichtung. Der elektrolytische Stromunterbrecher befindet sich in einem Gefässe a, welches gleichzeitig die eine Elektrode des Unterbrechers bilden kann. Die Wandung dieses Gefässes verhindert bekanntlich die Fortpflanzung der von der Anodenfläche ausgehenden Stösse nicht.

The present invention relates to a device which enables extremely rapid and very effective shocks or shock waves to be generated in the water, such as those that can be used with advantage for the transmission of subsea signals and the like.
According to the present invention, the shock waves are generated by means of an electrolytic circuit breaker immersed in water t, the discharges of which generate violent, extremely rapidly flowing disturbances with a corresponding current strength.
The drawing shows an embodiment of the device forming the subject of the invention. The electrolytic circuit breaker is located in a vessel a, which can also form one electrode of the breaker.
