Starke lokale Erhitzung der Flüssigkeit auf andere Methoden etwa durch das kontinuierliche Überspringenlassen von elektrischen Funken in der Flüssigkeit, oder durch sonstige starke lokale Erhitzung des Gefässes oder durch Auftropfenlassen der Flüssigkeit auf einen heissen Gegenstand oder kontinuierliche Zersetzung der Dämpfe der Flüssigkeit und ihrer schweren Zersetzungsprodukte, wobei immer dafür gesorgt wird, dass die leichten Zersetzungsprodukte entweichen können, während die schwereren immer wieder bis zur weiteren Zersetzung neuerlich erhitzt werden. 



   2. Zersetzung oder Depolymerisation der Flüssigkeit durch stille elektrische Entladung oder ultraviolettes Licht. 



   In allen Fällen erhält man ein zur Kautschukgewinnung höchst geeignetes, an niedrig siedenden Stoffen sehr reiches Zersetzungsprodukt von Terpentinöl oder ähnlichen Kohlenwasserstoffen, bei kontinuierlichem Betriebe und hoher Ausbeute und folglich auch bei grosser Ökonomie. 



   PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE : 
1. Verfahren zur Herstellung von zur Uberführung in Kautschuk oder kautschukartige Massen geeigneten Kohlenwasserstoffen durch Überleitung von vergasten Terpenen über glühende Körper, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die leicht flüchtigen Produkte (Isopren und dgl.) sofort nach ihrer Bildung ausser Berührung mit der Energiequelle kommen.
