  Bridge button.

The subject of the present invention is a bridge button for cuffs, in which the two button legs are not made of one piece as before or by means of a joint, but by means of a resilient leaf made of non-metallic material such as celluloid or galalith or the like.

This type of connection of the button legs protects the cuff, while the cuff edges are soiled, heavily worn and often damaged when the metal connecting webs or joints that have been used up to now are used.

In the exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention shown in the drawing, the web connecting the two button legs a consists of a thin leaf b which is attached to the button legs in some way, for example by means of rivets c, and can be bent in the middle. The leaflet b, which is suitably wider in the middle than at the ends, consists of celluloid, Galalith or some other elastic, flexible material.

This lamina made of non-metallic material can also have the shape of a ring or several rings or a double eyelet or a joint.
