Einrichtung zur Wiedergabe von Edisonschrift auf magnetischem Wege.
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Einrichtung zur Wiedergabe von Edisonschrift auf magnetischem Wege und kennzeichnet sich dadurch, dass die Schrift nicht dauernd magnetisch ist, sondern nur im Augenblick ihres Vorüberganges vor der magnetisch beeinflussbaren WiedergabeVorrichtung magnetisiert wird. Zu diesem Zwecke wird das Phonogramm mit einer Schicht aus paramagnetischem Material übergezogen und zwischen der Wiedergabevorrichtung und einem permanenten Magnet hindurchgeführt Die magnetische Induktion des permanenten Magneten macht die paramagnetische Schicht des Phonogramms gewissermassen zu ihrem Pol,
der sich infolge der Reliefunterschiede der Schrift der Wiodergabevorrichtung mehr oder weniger nähert und auf diese Art die magnetische Einwirkung des Magneten auf die Wiedergabevorrichtnng so variiert, dass man die Variationen In bekannter Weise zur Lautwiedergabe benutzen kann.
Die Erfindung wird auf der Zeichnung beispielsweise schematisch verdeutlicht, wo Fig. 1 und 2 zwei verschiedene Ausführungsformen derselben darstellen. j ! ist der eine Pol des permanenten Magnetes und 2 ist die Lautwiedergebungsplatte, welche gemäss vorliegender Erfindung mit einem eisernen Überzug versehen ist. 3 ist das lautwiedergebende Organ, welches mit einer der in der Platte befindlichen Kurven folgenden Spitze versehen ist. Die Platte 2 ist beweglich über den Magnetpol 1 und bildet auf diese Weise einen Teil desselben, so dass der Abstand zwischen den Magnetpolen und demzufolge die Lage und die Stärke des magnetischen Feldes von den in der Platte befindlichen Kurven abhängen, welches zur Folge hat, dass das Jautwiedergebende
Organ in diesen Kurven in entsprechende Schwingungen versetzt wird.
Bei der in Fig. 2 gezeigten Ausführungsform ist 1 ein permanenter Magnet, 2 die Lautplatte und 3 ein Elektromagnet, dessen Wicklung mit einem Hörertelepbon in Verbindung stehen kann. Die in dem Elektromagnet erzeugten Ströme, welche ja von den
Kurven in der Platte 2 abhängig werden, versetzen die Membrane des Hörertelephones in Schwingungen, so dass der auf der Lautplatte aufgezeichnete Laut in dem Hörertelephon wiedergegeben wird.
Die jetzt beschriebene Erfindung ist besonders von Bedeutung, wenn der wieder- zuges) zende Laut auf einem Band aufgezeichnet ist, welches wie ein Kinematographfilm über den permanenten Magnetpol laufen kann.
