Description
<Desc/Clms Page number 1>
Verfahren zur Herstellung von Bleiarseniat.
EMI1.1
EMI1.2
Säure erhält man fast neutrales Bleiarseniat.

<Desc / Clms Page number 1>
Process for the production of lead arsenate.
EMI1.1
to dissolve or to react arsenic acid salts with lead salts. The first method gives unsatisfactory results, since part of the lead oxide remains unaffected due to the formation of lumps, the latter is economically unfavorable.
The invention is based on the observation that the higher oxides of lead, when reduced in the presence of arsenic acid, react with it smoothly and without residue to form lead arsenate. Arsenic acid, which converts into arsenic acid, which in turn is consumed for salt formation, can advantageously be used as reducing agent. By measuring the ratio of arsenic acid and arsenic acid in the reaction mixture according to the degree of oxidation of the lead (red lead or lead peroxide), more or less basic or acidic lead arsenates are obtained.
Example: 20 kg of arsenic acid are oxidized to arsenic acid in a known manner.
EMI1.2
Acid you get almost neutral lead arsenate.
