Photographic single lens made of three cemented lenses, the middle of which is biconcave.
The invention consists in an improvement of the three-lens single anastigmate with two cemented surfaces, one of which is concave and diffusing towards the diaphragm and the other is convex and converging towards the diaphragm. Two types of this anastigmat are known. In the case of the one, which is only improved here, the front lens (facing the diaphragm) is converging with a concave front and convex rear surface, the rear lens is biconvex and the center lens is consequently biconcave. It is inferior to the other type insofar as its chromatic difference in magnification is half greater, and the sharpness decreases correspondingly faster towards the band.
The present invention counteracts this lack of focus. For this purpose the biconcar central lens consists of the so-called telescopic flint. This not only significantly reduces the secondary color spectrum, it also improves the astigmatic and spherical correction for the same reason that is effective in the objective of patent specification No. 36471.
Since the exponent Mn of the telescope flint does not exceed the limits 1 # 3 and l 52, the exponent difference on the front, dispersing cement surface is about 0-025 if the extremely durable Krongias of about 1,495 is chosen for the front lens. The rear, collecting putty surface can receive a difference of about 0 # 100. This results in the favorable ratio of 1: 4 between the two differences according to the cited patent.
In the embodiment of the invention, as shown in the drawing and explained in the following tables, the sine condition is only approximately fulfilled. The relative opening is 1: 13 # 6.
In the tables the numerical values of the radii of curvature, the lens thickness and the distance from the diaphragm 1) apply for the focal length 100. The types of glass used are indicated by the refraction exponents PJD and nG '(for the HY line of the hydrogen spectrum).
