Bottom surfaces 2 and along the open closing flaps 4 into the sludge channel 3. As soon as sufficient sludge has accumulated in the channel 3, the same is closed by lowering the rod 7 and the sludge outlet 14 is opened. The pressure of the water in the pool area then acts on one side on the piston 16 through the intermediary of the non-closed opening 12 and presses the sludge enclosed between this piston and the sludge outlet out through the outlet pipe 13. At the same time, the transport element that transfers the excess water pressure to the sludge prevents the moving sludge from being diluted again with the water in the sedimentation basin that does this work.
After the sludge has been removed from the channel 3, the rod 7 is raised again and the closing flaps 4 are opened, whereupon the piston 16 can easily be returned to its initial position by pulling on the cable 17.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 3, the basin is again denoted by 1, the inclined bottom surfaces of the same with 2, the sludge channel with 3, the water inlet with 10 and the outlet with 11. In this case, the sludge channel is arranged essentially vertically and only has a cross-sectional area connected to the basin space at one end.
A closure and transport body 18, which hangs on a rope 19, is assigned to this end of the mud channel. At the other end of the mud channel, an outlet pipe 20 with a locking slide 21 is attached. During the regular operation of the apparatus, the transport and closure body 18 is raised so far that it does not interfere with the connection between the settling basin and the mud channel. As soon as sufficient sludge has accumulated in the channel 3, the closure and transport body 18 is lowered so far that it enters the Kar9. 1 entry. The excess pressure of the water in the settling basin 1, which comes into effect after the slide 21 has been pulled open, then weighs on the piston 18 and pushes the piston 18 if the piston is sufficiently loosened
Rope 19 in front of you, the sludge being conveyed out through the discharge channel 20.
After the sludge has been removed from the channel 3, the piston 18 can be raised again. so that it releases the connection between the basin and the mud channel again.
EMI2.1
1. Embodiment of the sedimentation basin according to parent patent no. 47430, characterized by the arrangement of a transport element for the sludge, which is displaceable in the sludge channel like a piston, so that when the sludge channel is closed, there is a partition between the sludge in the closed channel space and the water content of the pool
