Die hochauflösende retrograde Kamera (a) bietet durch diesen Winkel eine ausgezeichnete Sicht auf die Tracheotomie-Punktionsstelle. Der beschriebene Winkel der retrograden hochauflösenden Videokamera (a) erlaubt ein müheloses Extubieren des Endotrachealspiraltubus mit integrierter retrograder hochauflösender Videokamera (a) ohne die Wand der Trachea zu beschädigen. Die hochauflösende retrograde Videokamera (a) wird mittels eines im Endotrachealspiraltubus integrierten Kabels (b) an einen externen Monitor angeschlossen, um so das Bild der Kamera (a) auf den Monitor zu übertragen. Somit wird es möglich (Bougie)-Tracheotomien unter steter Sicht mittels des neuartigen Endotrachealspiraltubus mit integrierter retrograder Videokamera (a) durchzuführen. Der bisherige Einsatz eines Bronchoskops erübrigt sich damit. Ein sicherer Atemweg ist durch diesen Endotrachealspiraltubus garantiert, da die Gefahr einer artifiziellen Extubation oder einer gefürchteten Cuffpunktion ausgeschlossen werden kann.
