  Verfahren zur Herstellung von Smyrna-Handarbeiten. 



   Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Smyrna-Handarbeiten, bei welchem aus Wollfilz oder dgl. bestehende, sternförmig oder ähnlich ausgebildete Plättchen derart nebeneinander befestigt sind, dass die   äusseren   Teile aufwärts stehen. Die Erfindung besteht nun darin, dass diese Plättchen mit ihrem Mittelteil auf einer straminartigen Unterlage mittels eines Fadens dicht nebeneinander aufgereiht werden. Ein ganz besonderer Vorteil besteht in der ausserordentlichen Einfachheit des Verfahrens sowie darin, dass durch die voluminöse Wirkung der Plättchen die Arbeiten ausserordentlich rasch vorwärts gehen. 



   An der Hand der Zeichnung ist das neue Verfahren nachstehend erläutert :
Fig. 1 zeigt die Ansicht eines einzelnen Plättchens von oben auf der Straminunterlage aufgefädelt mit ausgebildeten Zacken. Fig. 2 stellt den Grundriss einer anderen Ausführungsform des Plättchens dar. Fig. 3 zeigt die büschelartige Anordnung der Plättchen auf der Straminunterlage. Fig. 4 zeigt die Ansicht der Straminunterlage mit aufgefädelten   Plättchen   von unten. Fig. 5 zeigt eine Seitenansicht der auf der Straminunterlage angeordneten Plättchen. 



   Die ans Wollfilz oder dgl. bestehenden Sternchen a können entweder gemäss Fig. 1 oder gemäss Fig. 2 oder aber auch in beliebiger anderer Weise ausgebildet sein. 



   Dieselben werden auf der straminartigen Unterlage b in der Weise befestigt, dass durch den mittleren Teil al ein Faden c (siehe Fig. 1, 4,5) gezogen wird. Durch entsprechend starkes Anziehen des Fadens stellen sich die mit dem Mittelteile al aufliegenden Teile der anderen Plättchen von selbst nach oben, jedoch wird dies noch dadurch unterstützt, dass die Plättchen dicht nebeneinander befestigt werden. 



   Das Durchziehen des Fadens c erfolgt in der aus der Unteransicht (Fig. 4) ersichtlichen
Weise Zur Regelung des Abstandes der einzelnen Plättchen voneinander dient die Maschen- weite der Straminunterlage.

   The invention relates to a method for the production of Smyrna handicrafts in which star-shaped or similar plates made of wool felt or the like are fastened next to one another in such a way that the outer parts are upward. The invention now consists in that these platelets are lined up with their central part on a rope-like base by means of a thread close together. A very special advantage is the extraordinary simplicity of the process and the fact that the work progresses extremely quickly due to the voluminous effect of the platelets.



   The new process is explained below using the drawing:
Fig. 1 shows a view of a single plate from above on the canvas underlay threaded with formed prongs. Fig. 2 shows the plan of another embodiment of the plate. Fig. 3 shows the tuft-like arrangement of the plates on the canvas underlay. Fig. 4 shows the view of the canvas underlay with threaded plates from below. 5 shows a side view of the platelets arranged on the canvas underlay.



   The asterisks a on the wool felt or the like can be designed either in accordance with FIG. 1 or in accordance with FIG. 2 or in any other way.



   The same are attached to the canvas-like base b in such a way that a thread c (see Fig. 1, 4, 5) is drawn through the middle part a1. By suitably tightening the thread, the parts of the other platelets resting with the middle part al raise up by themselves, but this is supported by the fact that the platelets are fastened close to one another.



   The thread c is pulled through in that which can be seen from the bottom view (FIG. 4)
Way The mesh size of the canvas is used to regulate the distance between the individual platelets.
