Hose bandage by means of a clamp of adjustable width.

The hose dressings used for sealing hose defects usually consist of clamps connected by hinges into which the hose is inserted, after which the clamps are closed by a lever lock that can be pivoted in the circumferential direction. It is also known to make the lever lock flexible by engaging a spring.

According to the invention, the adjustability of a ski bandage is to be achieved in that one of the two clamp halves consists of two parts which can slide against one another in the circumferential direction along the cylindrical inner surface of one toilet.

An example embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing. 1 shows a view of the closed hose bandage, FIG. 2 shows a view of the opened hose bandage, FIG. 3 shows a plan view of the same.

The clamps a and b are joined together like a hinge on the one hand by a bolt c in a known manner and are on the other hand by means of a lever lock d
 EMI1.1
The riveted part of the clamp is only pushed when a certain pressure is reached.

The arrangement is such that the bandage must first be adjusted for the specified smallest dimension before use. The bandage then adjusts itself through the pressure of the water on the hose wall. A hose bandage produced according to the invention can be used, for example, for hoses with a diameter of 45 to 55 mm. k denotes the already known protective flap.
