Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Erfassen von Verbrennungsvorgängen im Brennraum einer Brennkraftmaschine mit zumindest einem in einem Zylinder (10) hin- und hergehenden Kolben (11), wobei über zumindest zwei optische Sensoren (S) Flammenintensitäten (I) in unterschiedlichen Messvolumina (15) im Brennraum (12) des Zylinders (10) erfasst werden. Um eine rasche und anschauliche Aufbereitung der Ergebnisse von optischen Verbrennungsmessungen zu ermöglichen, ist vorgesehen, dass für jeden bestimmten, vorzugsweise Kurbelwinkel (KW) ein Polardiagramm erstellt wird, in welchem die Integrale der gemessenen Flammenintensitäten (I) des Messvolumens (15) jedes Messkanals (K) zwischen der jeweiligen Sensoroberfläche und einer jeweils gegenüberliegenden Begrenzungsfläche dargestellt werden.The invention relates to a method for detecting combustion processes in the combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine having at least one piston (11) reciprocating in a cylinder (10), wherein flame intensities (I) in different measurement volumes (15) are obtained via at least two optical sensors (S). in the combustion chamber (12) of the cylinder (10) are detected.
