Beschreibungdescription

NAHRUNGSERGÄNZUNGSMITTEL FÜR PFERDEFOOD SUPPLEMENT FOR HORSES

The invention relates to a dietary supplement for horses or generally the field of veterinary dietetics.

Horseracing in horses is a hoof disease that has various causes. These causes can be related to poisons, metabolism, birth and medication.

The problem with laminitis is that it comes to circulatory disorders in the area of the hoof with subsequent Huflederhautnekrose, which is very painful. In advanced cases, hoof bone lowering and breaking or loosening may occur.

There are various treatment options for the treatment. It is possible to inject painkillers or add blood thinning medications to improve local circulation. In addition, dietary advice, a good farrier and orthopedic care are important.

(Zhi Ke) 9 g Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium (Chen Pi) 3 g Notopterygii Radix (Qiang Huo) 6 g Coicis Sm. (Yi Yi Ren) 3 g Glcyrrhizae Radix (Gan Cao) 1 g Platycodi Radix (Jie Geng). As recognized by the inventor, alternative medicine offers the possibility of rapid pain relief and tissue regeneration as well as improved local circulation and improved metabolism, which is actually the starting point for the primary cause of laminitis. A corresponding dietary supplement according to the invention for use in the treatment of equine laminitis consists of the following herbs (Chinese names are given in parentheses): 9 g Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma (Bai Zhu) 9 g Poria Cocos Sclerotium (Fu Ling) 6 g Paeoniae Radix Alba (Bai Shao Yao) 9g Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Dang Gui) 6g Aurantii Fr. (Zhi Ke) 9g Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium (Chen Pi) 3g Notopterygii Radix (Qiang Huo) 6g Coicis Sm. (Yi Yi Ren) 3g Glcyrrhizae Radix (Gan Cao) 1g Platycodi Radix (Jie Geng).

The above composition corresponds to a daily dose at a recommended cure period of 10 days in horses weighing up to 300 kg. In addition to this weight, the double dose should be used.

1 /2With a dietary supplement or feed according to the invention and the specific herbal mixture a local circulation in the hoof is improved, thereby accelerating recovery, but above all improves the metabolism of the horse to be treated, which quickly leads to an improvement in the general condition of the horse. 1/2
