Das vorliegende Verfahren gestattet das Verzieren von Gegenständen aus Porzellan, Steingut, Glas, Torrakotta, Steinzeug und dgl. (Tafelgeschirre, Verkleidungsplatten usw.).
Um das Muster und die Farben zu fixieren, setzt man die übezogenen Gegenstände einem Verglliflen bei Temperaturen, deren Höhe von der Natur des zu behandelnden Stoffes abhängt, aus. So kann für keramische Gegenstände beispielsweise eine Temperatur von 8000 C, für Glaswaren eine solche von 250 C entsprechen.
Selbstverständlich kann man bei Durchführung des vorliegenden Verfahrens dem Terpentinöl auch andere Öle, ätherische Öle oder Äther. zusetzen oder das Terpentinöl durch Stoffe genannter Art ersetzen, vorausgesetzt, dass diese Flüssigkeiten in Wasser unlöslich und leichter als dieses sind. Desgleichen kann das Wasser durch jede andere geeignete Flüssigkeit ersetzt werden, unter der Bedingung, dass das zum Verdünnen der Farben verwendete Lösungsmittel in der betreffenden Flüssigkeit unlöslich ist und ein geringeres spezifisches Gewicht besitzt als diese.
