Description

The present invention relates to a furniture drive which is mountable for driving a movably mounted in or on a furniture body furniture part in or on the furniture body, with a first set of attachment points for resting attachment of the furniture drive to a wall of the furniture body.
Such furniture drives are usually attached directly or indirectly via support elements on a wall of the furniture body fitting.
In recent years, more and more furniture drives have been proposed, which have electromotive components. Compared to purely mechanical furniture drives, such electrical furniture drives are usually built larger. Often, two furniture drives are necessary for driving a furniture part, which may for example be mounted on opposite walls of the furniture body.
However, it is usually sufficient if only one of the furniture drives is designed as an electric furniture drive, while the other furniture drive works purely mechanically. Even though the two furniture drives are of the same type of construction, however, the electric furniture drive will usually build larger due to the electrical components present in it (usually in addition to the mechanical components).
This brings with it the problem that in the same furniture body on opposite walls different amounts of space for the respective furniture drive is needed.
It is therefore necessary, for example, to position guide systems for the movable furniture part at different locations in the furniture carcass, depending on whether the guide system is to be arranged on the wall with the purely mechanical furniture drive or on the wall with the (also) electrical components having furniture drive.
These considerations apply not only in comparison between purely mechanical and electrical components having furniture drives.
For example, it is also conceivable to equip only one of the furniture drives with an extended mechanical functionality, which is connected to an enlarged size of the furniture drive, by two furniture drives fastened in a furniture carcass for jointly driving a furniture part.
Regardless, it may also be in such cases in which a single furniture drive is provided for driving a furniture part, installation situations in which a furniture drive with a certain size due to the space in the furniture body very difficult or not at all in a conventional manner at a Wall of the furniture body can be mounted adjacent.
The object of the invention is to develop a generic furniture drive in such a way
that he has a greater substitutability by solving the problems discussed above.
This object is achieved by a furniture drive with the features of claim 1.
By providing a second set of attachment points, it is possible to attach one and the same furniture drive either adjacent to a wall of the furniture body or at least partially recessed in a recess of the wall.
In those cases in which two furniture drives are provided together for driving a single furniture part, wherein one of the furniture drives due to an additional functionality (mechanical or electrical) has a larger design, the invention allows the larger design having furniture drive sunk in such a way To arrange the wall of the furniture body, that the part projecting beyond the wall,
has at most the same space requirements, as arranged on the other wall from the outset smaller furniture drive.
On the other hand, the invention also makes it possible, when using a sole furniture drive in such cases, in which the available space for the furniture drive is lower than usual, to arrange the furniture drive sunk sufficiently far in the wall of the furniture body.
Further advantageous embodiments of the invention are defined in the dependent claims.
Protection is also desired for a furniture body with a novel furniture drive, wherein the furniture drive is mounted via its second set of attachment points at least partially sunk in a recess of a wall of the furniture body.
Examples of furniture parts which can be driven by a furniture drive according to the invention are flaps or doors.
The fastening points of the first and / or second set can be designed in many ways. For example, it is conceivable to form the attachment points as holes for receiving fasteners such as bolts or screws in a conventional manner. Alternatively, snap connections could be used. Other alternatives are conceivable.
Further advantages and details of the invention will become apparent from the figures and the associated description of the figures.
Showing:
Fig. 1 schematically shows two walls of a furniture body with two mounted
Furniture drives according to the prior art, Fig. 2 shows an inventive furniture drive,
Fig. 3 shows the situation shown in Fig. 1 when using an inventive
4 shows a perspective view of a furniture drive mounted on a wall according to the invention in a first installation situation, FIG. 5 shows the furniture drive according to the invention shown in FIG. 4 in a second installation
6 shows a plan view of the wall shown in FIG. 5 with the inventive furniture drive mounted from the other side, FIG.
Fig. 1 shows schematically two walls 2, 3 one and the same furniture body, wherein on both walls 2, 3, a furniture drive 1, 4 for a not shown furniture part (here: flap) is mounted.
The left side arranged in Fig. 1 furniture drive 4 is designed as a purely mechanical actuator and therefore serves on the one hand to guarantee a secure guidance of the furniture part and on the other hand approximately compensate for the weight of the furniture part by spring mechanisms.
The right in Fig. 1 arranged furniture drive 1 is in itself of the same design as the left furniture drive 4, but in addition has a structural unit 5, in which an electric motor including gear for applying a driving force on the pivot arm 6 of the furniture drive 1 is arranged.
Recognizable is the unfavorable situation that the two furniture drives 1, 4 have different sizes of space.
Fig. 2 shows a novel furniture drive 1, which consists in this embodiment of a purely mechanical actuator unit as the first unit 7 and an electric motor 9 including gear 10 having second unit 5. Furthermore, a cover is provided as a third unit. The individual units 5, 7, 8 are releasably fastened to each other. According to the invention, two sets 12, 13 of attachment points 12a to 12f, 13a, 13b, 13c are provided, which are formed in this embodiment as simple screw holes with thread. The second set 13 has here four attachment points 13a, 13b, 13c, of which, however, only three can be seen.
The first set 12 has six attachment points 12a, 12b, 12c, 12d, 12e, 12f.
FIG. 3 now shows a situation analogous to FIG. 1, wherein, however, the right-hand furniture drive 1 according to FIG. 2 is formed in FIG. The unit 5 having the electric motor is sunk in the wall 3 of the furniture body so that only the structural unit 7 forming the mechanical unit protrudes beyond the wall. The also having electrical components furniture drive 1 comes out with an equally small footprint, as the left in Fig. 3 arranged furniture drive 4, which has only the mechanical actuating unit forming unit 7.
Both furniture drives 1, 4 are further provided with a cover 8.
Fig. 4 shows a perspective view of an inventive furniture drive 1, which is mounted adjacent to a wall of a furniture body not shown in detail. In this case, the assembly takes place with the set 12 of fastening points 12a to 12f arranged on the structural unit 7 forming the mechanical actuating unit.
In contrast, in Fig. 5, the furniture drive 1 with the electrical components having assembly 5 sunk in the wall of the furniture body mounted.
This is done via the second set of attachment points.
It should be noted that the furniture drive 1 shown in Fig. 4 either as shown in Fig. 4, can be mounted adjacent to the wall of the furniture body or analogous to FIG. 5 on the opposite wall of the furniture body with the electrical components having assembly 5 recessed mounted in the wall can be mounted. Fig. 6 shows the same situation as in Fig. 5, only in plan view of the non-recognizable in Fig. 5 side of the wall of the furniture body. It can be seen that the furniture drive 1 projects with its electrical components having assembly 5 in a recess 11 of the wall.
