Dabei ist es wesentlich, dass der Gewindegang des Gewindes 8b jeder Zylinderkopfschraubenbohrung 8 unterhalb des Bodens 5 endet. Der minimale Abstand a des Gewindeganges 8b von der Zylinderkopfdichtebene 6 ist im Bereich der zweiten Motorquerebene 9 also größer als der Abstand H des Bodens 5 von der Zylinderkopfdichtebene 6. Die Differenz zwischen dem Abstand des Gewindes 8b und dem Mantelboden 5 ist in Fig. 2 mit d bezeichnet und beträgt zwischen 0 und 30 mm. Die Schraubenkräfte der Zylinderkopfschrauben greifen somit erst unterhalb des Bodens 5 am Zylinderblock 1 an.
