The invention relates to a radiator, in particular a wall radiator, each with a substantially vertically oriented and traversed by a heating medium flow and return channel, and with transversely to flow and return channel rung-shaped heating tubes.
Radiators of this type are commonly used in bathrooms and are not only for heating the bathroom but also for drying or preheating towels od. The like .. The radiator are connected in a conventional manner to a heating system and flows through a heating medium or are electrically heated , The heating tubes generally have the same shape and the same cross-section and are usually arranged one above the other in a group in groups.
The distances between the individual heating tubes are preferably selected so that groups are spaced apart from each other greater than the heating tubes of the individual groups with each other (DE 4438 572 A1, DE 10243420 A1).
A known wall radiator (DE 44 38 572 A1) comprises vertical, traversed by a heating medium collection profiles, as well as the collection profiles interconnecting, transverse to these rungs arranged heating pipes. The collecting profiles are provided at both ends with connections, the lower connections are used to connect the radiator to the Heizwasserkreis and the upper connections take a vent.
The disadvantage of this prior art, however, that laid by the specified by the heating tube length distance between the supply and return duct, the connections in the wall or exposed to the collection profiles who need to, which is either associated with a high installation and construction costs or significantly disturbs the aesthetic appearance of the radiator.
The invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide a radiator of the type described, the one hand with good efficiency visually fit perfectly into the environment of a bath and can be connected in a simple manner to a standard connection, without having to make expensive installation work.
The invention solves this problem in that both the flow channel and the return channel of an extruded profile,
in particular of an aluminum material, are formed, and that the heating tubes are attached at one end to the extruded profile such that they open into the flow channel and / or the return channel.
So that both the flow channel and the return channel are formed by an extruded profile, it is ensured that the two channels are already arranged at a distance from each other, which preferably corresponds to the distance of a standardized connection, in particular around 50 mm. The radiator can thus be connected in a simple manner to the intended standard connections and is flowed through in the usual way via flow and return from the heating medium. Laterally on the extruded profile, the heating tubes are arranged such that they protrude transversely from the supply and return duct.
The heating of the heating pipes is carried out in particular by convection of the heating medium in the radiator and by heat conduction from the extruded profile on the heating pipes. Are extruded profile and heating tubes made of an aluminum material, a particularly good heat conducting radiator is given, which has an excellent efficiency.
Of course, the heating pipes could be used in laterally provided on the extruded profile and in the flow or the return channel ausmündende holes, in particular pressed or welded, be. It is particularly advantageous if the heating tubes are screwed at one end with the interposition of a seal in the extruded profile and thereby open into the flow channel and / or the return channel.
With the provision of a screw, the radiator can be made quickly and tight and is still always given the opportunity to disassemble the radiator for maintenance purposes easily, if necessary.
To get along with as few attachments and not disturb the visual appearance of the radiator, it is recommended that the flow channel and the return channel are connected by at least one bore, the bore axis is coaxial with the axis of a heating tube. The connection between the supply and return channels can thus be manufactured in a simple manner in one setting and possibly by a tool.
Such compounds can be provided over the extruded profile length depending on the desired heating capacity and heat transfer volume in the required number and, if necessary, with diameter gradations.
On the radiator side carrying the return channel, the heat transfer from the heating medium to the heating pipes, in particular by convection, is ensured. If the heat transfer from the heating medium to the heating pipes on the flow channel associated radiator side can be improved, it is advisable to arrange, for example, at least one heating tube a tube of smaller diameter such that forms a flow channel between Rohraussenmantel and Heizrohrinnenmantel, the tube at one end over the flow channel in the return channel or the flow channel and the other ends in the flow channel or the return channel.
Thus, the heating power of the radiator can be increased due to a guided flow through the heating pipes or better adapted to desired requirements. - -
A particularly simple construction results when supply and return connected at one end to a control valve and the other are closed by means of caps, of which at least one accommodates a conventional vent valve.
As advantageous because cheap to manufacture tight, it has been proven when the heating pipes made of aluminum rods with a blind hole.
In the drawing, the invention is illustrated by a schematic embodiment.
1 shows a heating element according to the invention in a view, FIG. 2 shows a section through the line II-II from FIG. 1 on an enlarged scale, and FIG. 3 shows a section through a construction variant of a heating element according to the invention.
A radiator 1, in particular a wall heater for a bath, each comprising a substantially vertically oriented and traversed by a heating medium flow 2 and return channel 3, which are formed by an extruded profile 4 of an aluminum material.
To improve the delivery of heat and to create suspension rods on which towels od. Like. Can be hung for drying or preheating, the radiator 1 is equipped with transversely to flow 2 and return channel 3 rung-shaped heating tubes 5, the side of the extruded profile 4 protrude and open into the flow channel 2 and / or the return channel 3. For this purpose, the heating tubes 5 are screwed sealingly at one end with the interposition of a seal 6 in the extruded profile 4.
In order to avoid unwanted loosening of the heating tubes 5 from the extruded profile 4, a fuse in the form of an adhesive applied to the thread. Like. Can be provided in addition. -
According to the illustrated embodiment, the supply and return ducts 2, 3 are connected in the lower region to a control valve 7 and are flowed through by this, via the flow channel 2 and the return channel 3 from the heating medium. In the upper part of the extruded profile [iota] ls, return and return lines 2, 3 are closed by means of sealing caps 8, of which at least one receives a not-shown, known venting valve.
To ensure the flow connection between flow and return channel 2, 3, the flow channel 2 and the return channel 3 are interconnected by a provided in the upper part of the extruded section 4 bore 9, the bore axis is coaxial with the axis 10 of a heating tube 5.
To improve the heat transfer from the heating medium to the heating tubes 5, as shown in Fig. 3, in at least one heating tube 5, a tube 11 of smaller diameter be arranged such that a flow channel 12 is formed between Rohraussenmantel and Heizrohrinnenmantel, the tube 11 at one end opens out via the flow channel 12 in the return channel 3 or the flow channel 2 and the other end in the flow channel 2 or the return channel 3.
If necessary, of course, there is also the possibility of the heating medium, for example, from the flow through a flow channel 12, through the pipe 11 via a connecting channel 13 (bore 9) in another pipe 11 and a further flow channel 12 to lead in the return (dash-dotted lines ). The attachment of the radiator 1 to a wall via screw 14 and suitable brackets. In Fig. 3 it is indicated that the surface of the extruded profile 4 may be arbitrarily coated or painted. Visually, in the extruded profile 4, a cover profile 15 is used, with which the visual appearance of the radiator can be changed or od an aperture for fittings. The like. Forms.
