Abstract

A device for reducing the volume of waste formed from empty plastics bottles comprises: a dome, flattened on both sides, for receiving and guiding the bottle neck; two fins perpendicular to the flattened parts of the dome, for fixing the bottle neck and securing it for twisting; and boreholes on each side for fixing the device in the required position.

FR 2 709 265 A (Gricourt Y) 3. AT 501 414 B1 The invention relates to a device for reducing the accumulated waste volume in emptied plastic bottles. The invention is characterized in that the plastic bottle to be disposed of is attached to the corresponding device and the volume is reduced by a manual rotary movement of the bottle about its longitudinal axis. To ensure that the reduced volume can be maintained over the long term, the screw cap of the bottle must be replaced after the volume has been reduced. The device consists of a dome flattened on both sides for receiving and guiding the bottle neck, which is mounted in the center of the device, the most important feature of the invention are the two perpendicular to the flattened areas of the dome ribs, which should ensure a fixation and rotation of the bottle neck , Furthermore, it should be noted that the following prior art documents have been identified: JP 2002 263 893 A (Ogasawara Hiroyuki) September 17, 2002 (Sep. 17, 2002) In contrast to the subject of the application, the bottle is not manually twisted, but clamped in a device in which the bottle neck is inserted into a recess and the bottle is squeezed together by means of a plate pressing against the bottom of the bottle. The rotation is accomplished by claws, the twisting of the bottle is achieved by the helical guide of the punch. FR 2 709 265 A (Gricourt Y) March 3, 1995 (Mar. 3, 1995) This is also a device for reducing the waste volume of empty plastic bottles, but with no helical twisting of the bottle, but only a linear crushing. In this case, a pin is inserted centrally into the bottle standing on a base, which is displaceably mounted in a part to be applied to the neck of the bottle. By pushing down the part, the bottle is squeezed. The invention will be explained with reference to an embodiment. The figures show the design schematically. In Figure 1, the device is shown in plan and side view. The two countersunk countersunk holes (3) serve for attachment at any point. The lying in the middle flattened dome (1) serves to accommodate the bottle (4), wherein the two ribs (2) serve to fix and prevent rotation of the bottle neck. Figure 2 shows the required bottle neck, which is characterized by an interrupted thread - at least two interruptions at an angle of 180 degrees. Figure 3 shows the plastic bottle placed on the device, the ribs of the device engaging in the apertures of the thread. Figure 4 shows the reduced volume of the plastic bottle created by manually rotating the bottle about its longitudinal axis. 1. A device for reducing the accumulated waste volume at emptied plastic bottles, characterized in that in the middle of the device a flattened on both sides is formed 3 T 501 414 B1 ter Dom (1) for receiving and guiding the bottle (4), and two ribs (2) located perpendicular to the flattened areas of the dome, which are intended to ensure a fixation and anti-rotation of the bottle neck. 2. Hiezu2.
