  Verfahren zum   Anschliessen   von verseilten Mehrfachbleikabeln für hohe Spannungen. 



   Die Übertragung elektrischer Energie bei sehr hoher Spannung mittels   verseilter   Mehrfachkabel bietet insofern Schwierigkeiten, als das Verbinden der Adern zweier Kabel oder das Verbinden der Adern eines Kabels mit den Gummileitungen das Entfernen des   Bleimantels   und das Auseinanderziehen der einzelnen Adern bedingt. Durch das Entfernen des Bleimantels und das Auseinanderziehen der Adern wird das elektrische Feld im Kabel gestört und es tritt in der   nächsten Nähe dea Bietmantels   eine starke Strahlung zwischen den Leitern auf, die zunächst eine bedeutende Erwärmung und   schliesslich   ein Durchschlagen der Adern zur Folge hat. 



   Um dies zu verhüten, werden   erfindungsgemäss   die freigelegten isolierten Adern und der Bleimantel an der Verbindungsstelle mit einer Metallfolie, z. B. Stanniol, derartig bewickelt, dass diese Metallfolie in unmittelbarer und vollständiger Berührung mit dem Bleimantel des Kabels steht. 



   Auf diese Weise werden die Strahlungspunkte möglichst weit von dem   Bleimantel   und zugleich auch voneinander entfernt. Es liegt dann zwischen ihnen eine Schicht Isoliermasse von so hoher   Durchschlagsfestigkeit, dass   die   Strah1ungserscbeinungen   nicht mehr auftreten können.

   The transmission of electrical energy at very high voltage by means of stranded multiple cables presents difficulties insofar as connecting the cores of two cables or connecting the cores of one cable with the rubber lines requires the removal of the lead jacket and the pulling of the individual cores. By removing the lead jacket and pulling the wires apart, the electrical field in the cable is disturbed and strong radiation occurs between the conductors in the immediate vicinity of the bidding jacket, which initially results in significant heating and finally the wires break through.



   In order to prevent this, according to the invention, the exposed insulated wires and the lead sheath at the connection point are covered with a metal foil, e.g. B. tinfoil, wound in such a way that this metal foil is in direct and complete contact with the lead sheath of the cable.



   In this way, the radiation points are as far away as possible from the lead jacket and at the same time from each other. There is then a layer of insulating compound between them of such high dielectric strength that the radiation bumps can no longer occur.

PATENT-ANSPRUCH : Verfahren zum Anschliessen von verseilten Mehrfachbleikabeln für hohe Spannungen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass bei Aufteilung der Adern in den Anschlussmuffen, jede Ader ein Struck weit mit Metallfolie bewickelt wird, welche mit dem Bleimantel in unmittelbare, leitende Verbindung gebracht ist.
