Am Gestell des unteren Wagens d ist beispielsweise bei y und fll ein über am Maschinengestcll drehbar gelagerte Rollen laufendes Band A so befestigt, dass seine obere Fläche mit der Scheitellinie der Widcriagwalzc bündig liegt und gewissermassen einen endlosen Tisch bildet, der mit der Widerlagwalze hin und her wandert. Selbstverständlich kann man im Sinne der Erfindung das Band h auch tatsächlich endlos ausführen, d. h. seine Enden nicht etwa bei 9 und gl starr befestigen, sondern man kann das Band über die Widerlagwalze e ebenso hinweggehen lassen, wie den festen Gurt bei der Ausführungsform nach Fig. 1.
Wenn man auf den Gurt h das Leder legt, ohne die Presswalze b herabzudrücken, so würde natürlich bei der Drehung der Spindeln c und f das Leder mit dem Gurt h wandern. Wenn man aber, wie es der Bearbeitungsvorgang erfordert, das Leder auflegt und dann die obere Presswalze b mit dem Pressdruck auf das Leder herunterdrückt, so liegt letzteres vollkommen still und der Pressdruck wandert nach Massgabe des Vorwärtsganges beider Walzen am Werkstück entlang, ohne dass dieses von dem Gurt h bewegt wird.
Der Arbeitsvorgang erfolgt bei der neuen Maschine in äusserst vollkommener Weise und Ist keinerlei Naehhilfe von Hand erforderlich. Das Leder wird nur auf-oder eingelegt, die beiden Walzen erfassen das eine Lederende, wälzen sich auf dem Leder ab und verlassen es an seinem anderen Ende, wobei das Werkstück dauernd ruhig liegen bleibt.
PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE :
1. Maschine zum Satinieren und Chagrinieren von Leder, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine Widerlagwalze und eine mit dieser zusammenwirkende Presswalze sich durch fortschreitende Bewegung ihrer Träger auf dem Leder abwälzen und so gegeneinander abgestimmt sind, dass sie den gewünschten Arbeitsdruck ausüben, ohne die Lage des Werkstückes zu verändern.
