Der Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung betrifft einen Zwickleisten zur Herstellung von Schub waren aller Art, und zwar bezieht sich die Neuerung insbesondere auf Leisten aus Metall.
Um auf. diesen Leisten sogenannte Goodyearwelt-und gewendete Arbeit ausführen zu können, ist auf den Leisten eine abnehmbare Holzsohle angebracht, so dass die Zwickarbeit ohne weiteres vorgenommen werden kann. Die Leisten sind dabei zweckmässigerweise zweiteilig, d. h. sie bestehen wie die üblichen Holzleisten aus dem eigentlichen Leisten und dem Keil, welcher im allgemeinen ebenfalls aus Metall besteht und derart eingerichtet ist, dass er sich bei der Bearbeitung des Leders nicht verschieben kann. Für abnormale Leisten ist dieser Keil jedoch zweckmässigerweise aus Holz, so dass die sogenannten Weitungen auf demselben befestigt werden können.
Der Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist auf der Zeichnung in beispielsweiser Ausführungsform in einem vertikalen Längsschnitt dargestellt.
Der Leisten selbst hat die übliche Form und besteht aus dem eigentlichen Leisten a und dem sogenannten Keil b. Diese werden zweckmässigerweise aus Metall hergestellt, und zwar aus einem Metall, welches sich verhältnismässig leicht umschmelzen lässt, wie z. B.
Aluminium, welches ausserdem noch den Vorteil des geringen Gewichtes hat.
Der Keil b kann bei normalen Leisten ebenfalls aus solchem Metall bestehen, bei abnormalen jedoch wird besser ein Keil aus Holz verwendet, auf welchem die Auflager oder Weitungen in der üblichen Weise befestigt werden können.
Um ein Verschieben des Keiles b am Leisten a während der Bearbeitung des Leders zu verhindern, ist der Keil b am vorderen Ende mit einer Nase c versehen, die in eine entsprechende Aussparung d des Leistens eingreift. Zum Aufstecken des Leistens auf den Zwickstockzapfen ist in dessen Absatzteil eine Bohrung e angebracht, welche derart angeordnet ist, dass sie etwa zur Hälfte durch das Ende des Keiles b hindurch- geht, so dass dieses durch den Zwickstockzapfen festgehalten ist und sich nicht ver- schieben kann.
Gemäss vorliegender Erfindung ist nun der dargestellte Leisten zum Zwecke des
Zwickens mit einer Sohle g aus Holz o. dgl. versehen, die abnehmbar, z. B. mittels leicht lösbarer Schrauben h auf dem Leisten a befestigt ist. Am Absatzende ist diese
Holzsohle y zum Zwecke des Stiftens mit einer Metallplatte i beschlagen, so dass in der üblichen Weise gearbeitet werden kann.
