The subject of the invention is a bulkhead door which has two slidably connected surfaces lying one behind the other, the sides of which have wedge-like projections which are arranged in such a way that when the door is closed at the end of the forward movement of the front surface they ride on one another, around the front The surface or the actual door must be pressed tightly against the opening to be closed, while they interlock when the door is opened in order to allow easy opening.

In order to secure them in the closed position, the two surfaces can be coupled in this; the rear surface can also be formed by a frame which is attached to a push rod used to open and close the door and to the front surface or the actual door by means of a spring tongue is connected by a slot and pin.

The drawing represents an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention.

Fig. 1 is a front view of the door including bulkhead or hatch and Fig. 2 is a front view of the alone. FIG. 3 shows the door in an end view, while FIG. 4 shows the door immediately after it has been pushed in and FIG. 5 shows it in the closed position.

The door is formed by two surfaces 2, 1 lying one behind the other, of which the front surface 2 is the end wall and the rear surface 1 is formed by a frame which is attached to a push rod 4 and connected to the end wall 2 by a spring tongue 3 by means of a slot 4 and pin 5 is connected.

The two surfaces 1. 2 have wedge-shaped projections 6, 7 on their sides facing one another, which interlock and can ride on one another. The frame 1 also has wedge pieces 9, 10, 11 which are provided with rising grooves 13 and which can engage with folded pieces 12 of the end wall 2.

The hatch is lined with a frame 15 which is reinforced by ribs or other reinforcing pieces and can be smooth or provided with gradations. to which the steps of the door adapt to give a large contact area. The lower sliding surface of the frame

The wedges can also have ball bearing sliding surfaces.
