Self-collecting contact device for bells.
The present invention relates to a contact device which only closes a bell current after a coin has been inserted, in order to thereby summon a person to perform a work to be paid and to prevent the willful activation of the bell.
This purpose is achieved in that the inserted coin brings a lever into contact position through its weight and thereby closes the flow of a bell. Then the contact lever, without breaking the contact, since it remains loaded by the coin inserted, is moved to such an extent that the coin can run out. whereupon the contact lever automatically assumes its initial position.
In the accompanying drawing, FIG. 1 shows the device in a front view with it removed

the outlet piece 4 is attached, which continues to guide the coin until it emerges from the slot 6 which is attached to the protective cover 7. concerned. Parts 3 and 4 together form the coin channel.
The path of the coin from insertion to exit is indicated in Fig. 2 by arrows.
The outlet piece has two incisions 9 and forms one contact by connecting the conductive wire to terminal 8. In these cuts and in the one between throw-in. 3 und.'uslauf existing space play the longer, at the end beveled arms of a frame-like two-armed lever 10, which is rotatable about an axis 11. The initial position of the moving parts before throwing the coin as shown in Fig. 1 is the. that the longer arms of the lever 10. as already mentioned above. under the action of the counterweight 12 are located near the lower edge of the throw-in.
If the coin is now thrown in, it presses the longer arm of the lever 10 so far down under its own weight. that they respectively with the outlet 4. with the lower edges of the incisions 9 of the same come into metallic contact whereby, as can be seen from the preceding description, the circuit of the bell is closed. This position is in

PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Self-collecting contact device for bells, consisting of a contact lever (10) which, loaded by the coin inserted, closes the contact and thus possibly the signal stream, characterized in that the lever (10) engages in an interruption of the coin channel and after When the coin is loaded with the lower part of the channel, the contact closes while the coin is thrown and the contact is opened by moving the lever out of the coin channel interruption.
