Den Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung bildet ein Filter für Diffusionssäfte. Das Wesen der Erfindung besteht darin, dass über Öffnungen des Filterkesselbodens, unten offene in den Filterkessel ragende Siebzylinder eingesetzt sind, welche die Diffusionssäfte aufsteigend passieren müssen, wodurch ein Absetzen der Filterrückstände und daher ein Verlegen der Sieböffnungen verhindert wird. Um, was kaum notwendig wird, die Löcher der Siebzylinder leicht reinigen zu können, sind dieselben konisch nach aussen geformt.
In der Zeichnung ist der Gegenstand der Erfindung beispielsweise zur Darstellung gebracht und zwar in Fig. 1 im lotrechten Längsschnitt, in Fig. 2 im Schnitt nach der Linie A-A der Fig. 1.
Der Filterzylinder s schliesst über die verbreiterte Leitung b mittels Ventil a an das Druckoder Überstoigrohr der Diffusionsbatterie und liegt ungefähr in gleicher Höhe mit dem an den Stutzen g anschliessenden Messgefäss.
Im Boden des Kessels sind Öffnungen c vorgesehen, in welchen die Siebrohre d mittels Verstärkungsringen f eingeschraubt sind. Die Siebrohre bezw. Siebzylinder d sind unten offen, oben mit einer Siebdecke versehen und können mittels durchgehender oben hakenförmiger Stangen, welche mit Vierkant in an den Verstärkungsringen f vorgesehener Biigol fl befestigt sind, eingesetzt oder herausgehoben werden.
Der Filterkessel ist mit Deckel h, Sicherungsplatte i und zugehörigen Schrauben k, I geschlossen, mit Manometer e und Thermometer o ausgerüstet. t bezeichnet einen Probierhahn, p die Rückleitung zum Entleeren des Filterkessels, m den Eintrittstutzen für das Drnckwasser zur Reinigung der Siebrohre. Die Ableitung des Druckwassers erfolgt oben- falls durch die Leitung p, q.
Die Diffusionssäfte gelangen aus dem Druck-oder Ühersteigrohr der Diffusionsbatterie durch das Ventil a zum Raum li und von da über die Öffnungen c in die Siebzylinder d und nach Filtrierung in den Kesselraum, den sie durch den Stutzen 9 verlassen und in das Messgefäss treten.
Die Fitterrückständo bezw. der Schmutz fällt von den Siebzylindern ab, wird in das mit Rübe frisch gefüllte Gefäss abgeführt und bleibt in den Rübenschnitten in dem untern Diffusionsraum.
