   In dem   Stammpatent   Nr. 42361 ist vorgesehen, das in der Metallegierung enthaltene Eisen durch   Luft oder andere oxydierende Gase zn   oxydieren. Unter gewissen Voraussetzungen,

   Hier sollen die beigemengten Metalloide (C, Si, P, S) entfernt werden,   während es sich bei der Erfindung um die Entfernung der letzten Reste eines Metalles Handelt - Es ist ferner die Einführung von Oxyden der zu behandelnden Metalle in die Schmelze bekannt, um die Oxydationswirkung der Luft zu steigern. Das Einblasen von   Luft usw. bewirkt   nun eine zu starke Oxydation der Metalle, welche rein gewonnen werden sollen, und führt nach dem Gesetz der   Massenwirkungen zu MetaDverIusten, be-   sonders wenn nur geringe Mengen des   verunrein@@@nder Metalles vorhanden   sind.

   Dadurch, dass durch das Mitoinblasen der Oxyde in den bekannten FäDen die Oxydationswirkung der Luft gesteigert wird, soll gerade das bewirkt werden, was bei der Erfindung verhütet werden soll.
