Device for preventing weed growth and regulating the water supply.

The subject of the present invention is a device by means of which the weed growth is prevented and at the same time the supply of water to the cultivated plants is regulated in such a way that even on hot and dry days the plants of the nurseries. Vegetable gardens ete. the soil moisture required for advancement is provided.

The reason for the noticeable lack of weeds in a high forest with closed stands can only be found in the lack of light caused by the dense canopy of leaves. The cool temperature, which is noticeable in every forest, indicates the moisture in the soil, which is particularly beneficial to the plants on the forest pods and

shown, namely Fig. 1 shows a view from the front, partially in section. 2 is a top view. Fig. 3 shows a special embodiment.

The device consists of a curved sheet metal body 1, which is rounded at the lower ends 2 in an arc shape to the outside. The comb 3 of the btech body is wavy.

A special embodiment is shown in Fig. :), according to which holes 4 are provided near the parallel edges on which the vault rests, in order to discharge the water that has collected between the bodies 2 into the interior thereof.

Sunlight, which is an essential condition for the existence of chlorophyll-bearing plants, and weeds are mostly such, is kept out by the tin roofs. On the other hand, the floor will be able to hold back moisture much longer in the unlit areas.

In the case of sparse rain, the water flows from the sheet metal bodies into the planted spaces, whereby the irrigation is much more abundant, while water collections, which could occur in heavy rain, are prevented by the holes 4 provided according to the embodiment in FIG. The wavy comb prevents water from collecting on the body itself.

A long series of years of experimentation fully met the expectations placed on the
Effectiveness of this device were linked. With their help, the cultures provided excellent products not only in terms of size, but also in terms of taste and smell. The tree nursery period was considerably shortened and all the trunks that were then transferred to the field were proven
