The invention relates to a heat pump with a defrosting serving as a condenser evaporator, which is housed with a fan for acting on the evaporator with outside air in a housing having on the pressure side of the fan optionally an air guide device forming air outlet opening.
In heat pumps whose evaporator is exposed to outside air, it is known to accommodate either the entire heat pump or at least the evaporator with the fan required for the air intake in a, can be set up outside a building housing. If such heat pumps are used at outside air temperatures below 0 C, appropriate precautions must be taken to defrost icing in the area of the evaporator. For this purpose, the heat pump can advantageously be operated in the reverse direction, so that heat is released via the then acting as a condenser evaporator.
However, with the aid of the air heated by means of the condenser serving as a condenser, it is not possible to defrost ice and snow accumulations in the region of the air outlet opening of the housing, in particular if these ice and snow layers grow on the outside of the housing area enclosing the air outlet opening. For this reason, an electric heater is provided for defrosting these ice and snow deposits in the region of the air outlet opening of the housing, which, however, significantly increases the cost of defrosting.
The invention is therefore the object of a heat pump of the type described with simple structural means in such a way that even in the region of the air outlet opening of the housing growing ice and snow deposits can be defrosted without electric auxiliary heating.
The invention solves this problem by the fact that the housing carries a downstream of the air outlet opening, concentric with the air outlet opening Umlenkring for a connected against the outside of the air outlet opening housing portion diverted partial flow of the blown air.
By providing a deflecting ring concentric with the air outlet opening for the air blown out, a partial flow of the air heated via the evaporator, which is then effective as a condenser, can be deflected radially against the housing area adjoining the air outlet opening during defrosting, so that ice present in the area of the air outlet opening of the housing. and snow deposits can be sealed without additional electrical heating, even if these ice and snow deposits are on the outside of the housing. This is by the mere reversal of the heat pump complete de-icing not only of the evaporator itself, but also the louvers and the housing in the field of louvers possible.
The design effort remains low because the guide ring can be made in a simple manner, for example, from sheet metal. The deflection of a partial air flow through the deflection ring plays no role in the normal operation of the heat pump.
Usually, the air outlet opening of the housing for the evaporator is covered with a protective grid to prevent free access to the fan. If the deflecting ring is arranged outside the protective grille covering the air outlet opening, then the cover of the ventilator is not impaired by the deflecting ring, so that conventional housings can be used with a deflecting ring according to the invention or can be retrofitted by such a deflecting ring.
In the drawing, the subject invention is illustrated, for example, and that is housed in a separate housing evaporator of a heat pump according to the invention in a schematic axial section through the housing shown.
The evaporator 1 of a conventional in addition to the evaporator 1, a compressor, a condenser and an expansion valve comprising heat pump is housed according to the illustrated embodiment in a separate, can be set up in the open housing 2. The outside air is sucked from below over the evaporator 1 by a fan 3 and blown up through an air outlet opening 4 of the housing 2. The fan 3 is driven by an electric motor 5.
The air outlet opening 4 is limited by an annular guide 6 for the escaping air; the air outlet opening 4 itself is covered by a protective grille 7. To now defrost the evaporator ice and snow deposits in the area of the outside of the

To be able to detect the guide device 6, the guide device 6 is followed by a concentric deflection ring 8, which is supported by webs 9 on the housing 2 and a partial flow of air blown through the air outlet opening 4 air deflects radially against the outside of the guide 6, as shown by the flow arrows 10 is indicated.
If, in reversal of the circulation of the heat pump, the external air sucked in by the fan 3 is heated via the evaporator 1, which then functions as a condenser, any snow and ice deposit in the area of the air outlet opening 4 is blown off with the aid of the partial flow of the heated outside air deflected along the deflecting ring 8 or defrosted, so that a complete de-icing of the evaporator 1 and the housing 2 is secured at least in the area of the air flow, without having to use a separate additional heating for this purpose.
