   Das den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildende Verfahren bezweckt die Herstellung von marmorartigen Wandbelagplatten. Von den bekannten Verfahren unterscheidet es sich im   Wesent-   lichen dadurch, dass die einzelnen Muster nicht auf dem Wege des Druckverfahrens oder mit Hilfe von Abziehbildern auf die einzelnen Platten übertragen werden. Die Musterung der Platten erfolgt vielmehr in ähnlicher Weise wie die Herstellung des marmorierten Papiers in der Buchbinderei, also durch Abheben einer schwimmenden Farbschicht. Bei dem letzteren \'erfahren werden ausnahmslos Leimfarben oder   Ölfarben verwendet,   die mit Galle oder Damarfirnis vermischt werden. 



  Diese Farbenmischungen eignen sich nun zur Ausübung des neuen Verfahrens deshalb nicht. weil die herzustellenden Platten gebrannt werden müssen. Auch ist die Verwendung von Galle
