The invention relates to a cargo space structure and in particular a motor vehicle cargo space structure, consisting of wall elements as well as a roof element and a floor element, which elements are connected to one another at their corners with the aid of a profile part structure provided at the respective corner of the cargo space which forms a first profile part and has a second profile part, which are connected to the roof element or the floor element, wherein the profile part construction and the roof element or floor element connected to it are connected to the wall element and wherein edge parts protrude from a body part of the second profile part, between which a space remains, into which when the elements are connected to one another, a fastening edge of the first profile part can be inserted.
The invention also relates to a method for assembling a cargo space construction, the profile at the corners of the cargo space being used to connect a floor element to a wall element and a roof element to the wall element.
Various methods for connecting wall, roof and floor elements of a load compartment construction of vehicles are known from the prior art. In general, the methods and designs take a disproportionate amount of time to complete the assembly, making the overall design expensive. In addition, the known constructions have a large number of different components, the mutual matching of which is not always successful.
In the present application, a completely new vehicle load compartment construction and a method for assembling it are presented.
According to the invention, in the loading space construction described at the outset, the wall element has a groove into which an edge of the second profile element to be fastened with adhesive can be inserted, which protrudes from the body part of the second profile element in the opposite direction to the edge parts.
The edge is preferably at an angle of 90 to the body part.
According to a special embodiment of the invention, the first profile part has a wall piece and a second wall piece arranged at an angle of 90 to the latter, and the pieces are connected to one another via a radius, with a corner rounding between the wall pieces and the wall piece has a fastening edge running in its direction and an internal toothing thereon, and the second wall piece has an edge perpendicular to its center line against which the narrow side of the roof or floor element rests.
In the method described at the outset, according to the invention, a first profile part and a second profile part of the profile part constructions are already attached to the roof element and to the floor element in the factory, and the superstructure is removed after being transported out of the factory by connecting those connected to the floor or roof element. profile part constructions formed from the first profile part and the second profile part are connected to the wall element such that an edge of the second profile part of the profile part construction is inserted into a groove of the wall element.
The connection is secured by gluing and possibly by rivets. If a two-part profile construction is used, the adhesive can stick to the roof or wall element and the glue will not squeeze out. By using the corner profile construction according to the invention, which is in two parts, the tightness and the uniformity of the connection is ensured. The quality of the connection is very good.
The invention is described in detail below with reference to some preferred exemplary embodiments of the invention illustrated in the figures of the attached drawing, to which the invention is, however, not limited.

There is preferably a toothing D that delimits space U. The wall element S1 has a groove M made therein, into which the edge 15 of the second profile part 10a2 is inserted. The edge 15 has a toothing D on both sides. Glue is brought into the spaces U and M, where it comes to the toothing D.
The first profile part 10a1, the profile part construction 10 is connected to the roof or floor element S2 or S3 by adhesive and also the second profile part 10a2 is connected to the relevant element by adhesive. According to the invention, a profile part construction 10 is used which consists of aluminum. If the profile part construction 10 is in two parts, the adhesive can be applied well between the profile part and the element and does not squeeze out. The critical adhesive locations are marked by triangles f in FIG. 2B.
In the method according to the invention, profile part constructions 10 are thus used on the construction corners, with which the floor element S3 is connected to the side wall element S1 and the roof element S2 to the side wall element S1. In the method, the first profile part 10a and the second profile part 10a2 of the profile part construction 10 are already attached to the roof element S2 and to the floor element S3 in the factory. In the method, the superstructure is formed after being transported out of the factory by connecting the profile part construction 10, which is connected to the floor or roof element S3 or S2 and is formed from the first profile part 10a1 and the second profile part 10a2, to the side wall element S1 that the edge 15 of the second profile part 10a2 of the profile part construction 10 sits in the groove M of the side wall element S1.
The profile part construction 10 is preferably made of aluminum.
