    Blade attachment for radial turbines.

The subject matter of the invention is a method of fastening the blades of a radial turbine between two rings which serve to delimit the blade cavities and to absorb the centrifugal force of the blades.

Although various methods of attachment are known in which the blades are provided with lateral lugs which are inserted into spacer rings and held by support rings, none of these allow the blade lugs to be clamped between the support rings and the spacer rings.

The method of fastening according to the invention is based on the fact that the blades are provided at their ends with flat, undercut projections cl'c2, by means of which they are inserted into the lateral cutouts d (FIG. 3) of the spacer rings BI'B2; only with these together are they clamped in the grooves that are turned out in the supporting rings A1, A2.

The fastening of the spacer rings, with the blades inserted in the wreaths, (, can be done in different ways: Fig. 1 shows an embodiment,
 EMI1.1
Dovetail groove driven apart; In FIG. 5, the rings B1, Bg are fastened in that they are bent over by the action of pressure, in that the rings A1, A2 are pressed against one another; Finally, according to FIG. 6, the rings Bu, 82 are attached by filling the spaces g1, g2 with solder or the like.

The method of fastening the blades described has the advantage over others that the flat blade attachments C1, C2, which are stronger at the ends than at the roots, between the parts B1 and A1, respectively. B2 and A2 can clamp well. if the approaches are carried out in such a way that after being inserted into the rings B1, B2
 EMI1.2
can either be produced as a whole or composed of individual segments.
