   Wird der mit dem Torf angefüllte Kasten a längs des Arbeitstisches hin und her geschoben, so erfolgt das Abreissen der Fasern von der von Hand aus nach abwärts gedrückten Torfmasse mittels der Nadeln, und die Fasern fallen durch die Offnungen e nach abwärts.
