   Wenn man das Gas, nachdem es   den Kühler   passiert hat, unter Arbeitsleistung entspannen lässt, so kann man die Energie, welche zur Kälteerzeugung für die nachströmenden Anteile erforderlich ist, gewinnen. Indem man andererseits die   Druckfiammen   in Rohren brennen lässt, weiche durch Dampfkessel geführt sind, kann man ihre Verbrennungswärme zur Dampferzeugung und weiter zur Gewinnung der Arbeit nutzbar machen, welche für die Kompression aufzuwenden ist. 



   PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE : 
1. Verfahren zur Erzeugung von   Stickstofioxyden   oder konzentrierter Salpetersäure aus Stickstoff und Sauerstoff enthaltenden Gasgemischen mittels durch Brennstoff erzeugter, ständig und unter   Druck b1'ennender   Flammen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man als Brennstoff Kohlenoxydgas verwendet. 



     2. Ausführungsform   des unter 1 beanspruchten Verfahrens, darin bestehend, dass man zur unmittelbaren Erzeugung von konzentrierter Salpetersäure passende Mengen von Wasserstoff oder wasserstoffhaltigem Brennmaterial oder von Wasserdampf bei der Verbrennung zuführt.
