Wires (1) of circular or esp. non-circular cross-section are twisted together without back-twisting to form a cable with alternating twist. The twisting head (3) guides each wire in an arc shape over guide rollers (5). The roller profile is adapted to suit the cross-section of the wire (1).

Claims (4)

Sektorförmige Drähte müssen jedoch, andere als runde Drähte, wegen ihrer Passform im Seil zusätzlich einmal pro Schlag (Umdrehung) um ihre Achse verdrillt werden (Verseilen ohne Rückdrehung). Das bedeutet, daß hohe Drehmomente auf die einzelnen Drähte/Adern (bezogen auf deren Längsachsen) aufgebracht werden müssen. 70 Die EP-A1 -0582802 beschreibt eine Verseilmaschine mit wechselnder Schlagrichtung für Drähte, runden Querschnitts. Sie besteht aus einer feststehenden Einlaufführung in einen Drallspeicher und einem hin- und herrotierenden Legekopf mit Führungen für jeden Draht. Wenn nun die Drähte um ihre Achse verdrillt werden sollen, dann müssen sie im Legekopf drehfest gehalten werden. Es ist naheliegend, dafür formschlüssig zum Drahtquerschnitt angepaßte Führungen und Führungsrollen einzusetzen. Jedoch ist das, 75 abhängig von der Festigkeit und Art (AI, Cu - eindrähtig massiv oder mehrdrähtig verseilt) des verwendeten Leiters, praktisch kaum möglich, ohne daß die Leiterisolierung aus Kunststoff beschädigt wird. Zumal die Form der kreissektorförmigen Leiterquerschnitte mit 90· oder 120” Sektorwinkel durch relativ große Abrundungen an den Ecken nur wenig "Angriff" für eine Profilführung bietet. Bei der vorliegenden Erfindung werden die, die Drehkraft aufbringenden Profilrollen (5, 6) am Legekopf 20 (3) so in einem Bogen angeordnet, daß für das Verdrehen der Adern (1 ...Leiter, 2...Isolierung) ein Kurbelarm gebildet wird, mit dem Radius R, sodaß die jeweilige Umfangkraft Pu so klein wird daß die Aderisolierung aus Kunststoff nicht beschädigt wird. Fig. 1 und Fig. 2 zeigen beispielhaft einen solchen Legekopf (3), wobei der, in Drahtlaufrichtung (7) davorliegende "gestreckte Drallspeicher" nicht dargestellt ist. Der Legekopf (3) ist in den Lagerstellen (10, 25 11) drehbar gelagert, er wird vom Motor (12) und dem Riemenantrieb (13) oszilierend angetrieben. Die einzelnen Drähte (1) mit ihrer Isolierung (2) kommen in Durchlaufrichtung (7) aus dem "Drallspeicher". Um nun die nötige Drehkraft zum Verdrillen der steifen Drähte um ihre Längsachsen nicht an den abgerundeten Ecken (14) der Drähte angreifen zu lassen, werden die Drähte aus ihrer eigentlich idealen gestreckten Lage bogenförmig nach außen geführt, sodaß jeder Draht (1) einen Hebelarm mit dem Radius 30 R bildet. Die erforderliche Umfangskraft Pu wird dadurch weitaus kleiner, sie hat dann die ganze Querschnittshöhe als Angriffslinie, sodaß die spezifische Flächenpressung klein genug wird, um die Isolierung (2) nicht zu beschädigen. Die Verseilung wird im Verseilnippel (9) gebildet und läuft in Richtung 8 in eine "Drallsperre" bekannter Art. In der dargestellten Fig. 1 wird beispielhaft die bogenförmige Führung aus mehreren kleineren Rollen 35 dargestellt, das verkleinert die Baugröße des Verseilkopfes. Es könnte aber auch jeweils nur eine einzige Rolle eventuell größeren Durchmessers (der Steifigkeit der Verseilelemente entsprechend) ausgeführt werden. Patentansprüche 40 1.
