The invention relates to a hydraulic oil-air cooler with a plurality of hydraulic oil lines which, starting from a hydraulic oil distribution box, open into a hydraulic oil collecting box and delimit cooling air ducts between one another, in which air-guiding elements connected to the hydraulic oil lines are arranged to conduct heat.
In conventional hydraulic oil air coolers of this type, the hydraulic oil lines are simple metal pipes or are formed between delimiting metal plates, and the air guiding elements are fins or plate packs which have to be inserted between the pipes or plates during assembly and welded to them. The production of the known hydraulic oil-air cooler is therefore extremely time-consuming and costly and, moreover, there is a risk of damage to the relatively thin fins during assembly and cleaning.
The invention aims to provide a hydraulic oil air cooler of the type mentioned, which is much easier and cheaper to manufacture. This aim is achieved according to the invention with a hydraulic oil-air cooler of the type mentioned in the introduction in that the hydraulic oil lines are formed by extruded profiles with a hollow cross section, which have integrally formed outer ribs which form the air guide elements. It is achieved by the invention that the time-consuming assembly and welding of separate slats is completely eliminated and the manufacturing costs are significantly reduced.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the outer ribs of adjacent extruded profiles are offset from one another. This allows a serpentine or meandering air flow to be achieved between the hydraulic oil lines, which further improves the heat transfer from the hydraulic oil to the cooling air.
Another preferred embodiment of the invention is that the extruded profiles are provided with integrally molded inner ribs, which are preferably designed similar to the outer ribs. In this way, the cooling surface for the hydraulic oil is enlarged and the cooling capacity is increased. For the same reasons, it is particularly advantageous if the extruded profiles have a multi-chamber cross section in a preferred embodiment of the invention.
According to a further preferred feature of the invention, the extruded profiles are soldered at the ends into openings in the distributor and collecting boxes, which is an economical manufacturing process and can be accomplished, for example, by oven soldering in a vacuum.
The invention is explained below with reference to an embodiment shown in the drawings. 1 shows the hydraulic oil-air cooler according to the invention in a front view, FIG. 2 shows a cross section along the line 11-11 in FIG. 1 and FIG. 3 shows a cross section along the line III-III in FIG. 1.
1, the hydraulic oil-air cooler has a hydraulic oil distribution box 1 and a hydraulic oil collecting box 2, which are connected to one another via parallel extruded profiles 3 with a hollow cross section, which form hydraulic oil lines and between them cooling air channels 4 for the flow of cooling air in the direction of the arrow 5 (Fig. 2,3) limit. A forced convection of the cooling air can be effected with the aid of a fan (not shown) which, for example, covers the entire front side of the hydraulic oil air cooler and is attached to the distributor and header boxes 1, 2.
The distribution box 1 and the collection box 2 are formed by hollow metal profiles with a square cross section. The distribution box 1 has at one end an inlet connection 6 in the form of a flange or a fluid coupling and is closed at its other end with a plug 7. Instead of the plug 7, a fluid coupling can also be provided for connection to an adjacent further hydraulic oil-air cooler. The collecting box 2 is provided at one end with an outlet connection 8 in the form of a flange or a fluid coupling, and also has a plug 9 at its other end or alternatively a fluid coupling for connection to the adjacent hydraulic oil-air cooler.
The extruded profiles 3 are soldered into openings 10 of the distribution box 1 or collecting box 2 to form a semi-overlapping joint (see FIG. 3). The soldering is preferably carried out by means of oven soldering under vacuum. Alternatively, the extruded profiles can be welded to the distribution and collecting boxes 1, 2.
For additional stiffening of the hydraulic oil air cooler, struts 11 running parallel to the extruded profiles 3 can be soldered or welded to the distributor and collecting boxes 1, 2.
The extruded profiles 3 shown in cross section in FIG. 2 each have a two-chamber hollow cross section and are provided with outer ribs 12 and inner ribs 13, which are integrally formed during the extrusion process. The outer ribs 12 of adjacent extruded profiles 3 are each offset from one another, so that depending on the selected spacing of the extruded profiles 3 and the height of the outer ribs 12, a serpentine to meandering cooling air flow between the extruded professionals

len results.
The inner ribs 13 shown are not mandatory, but they enlarge the cooling surface for the hydraulic oil flowing through the extruded profiles 3. In an embodiment not shown, the shape of the inner ribs can preferably be selected analogously to that of the outer nubs. Instead of the two-chamber cross section shown, the extruded profiles 3 can also have only a single chamber or more than two chambers in cross section. The shape, arrangement and circumferential distribution of the outer ribs 12 and inner ribs 13 of the extruded profiles 3 is not limited to the embodiment shown, but can be modified as desired. The distributor and collecting boxes 1, 2, the extruded profiles 3 and the struts 11 are preferably made of aluminum.
