Die Verwendung der Datenträger erfolgt naturgemäß sehr oft unter ungünstigen Witterungsbedingungen, wie große Kälte, Schneefall, Regen, die sich, etwa an einem Schitag sehr rasch auch zu einer starken Sonnenstrahlung mit beträchtlicher Erwärmung verändern können. Zwischen den Kammern 8 sind schneidenartige Trennstege 9 vorgesehen. Auf die Unterform wird die Deckfolie 3 mit der gegebenenfalls bedruckten Seite nach oben, bzw. das Folienpaar 2,3 aufgelegt, wobei die Druckträgerfolie 2 oben zu liegen kommt. Anschließend wird eine Latexmischung 7 aufgegossen und die Oberform 6 in Richtung des Pfeiles abgesenkt. Durch Anwendung von Wärme und Druck wird die Latexmischung in den Kammern 8 vernetzt, wobei die sich gegeneinander pressenden Trennstege 9 die Unterteilung in den Armbändern entsprechende Streifen bewirken. Die hergestellten Armbänder sind dank der verwendeten Polyethylenfolien auch unter extremen Temperaturen und Witterungsbedingungen über lange Zeit verwendbar und vor allem zur Befestigung an Datenträgern geeignet.
