Description
AT396821BAT396821B
The invention relates to an oil or gas forced-air burner with a flame tube protruding into a combustion chamber, an air intake duct concentrically surrounding a fuel supply line and a fuel / air / exhaust gas mixing device, an annular gap surrounding the flame tube in the wall of the combustion chamber for the passage of the exhaust gases and an exhaust gas duct adjoining the annular gap and having an exhaust gas intake device is provided.
Such a forced draft burner is known from FR-OS 2 348 437. The fan serves both to generate a flow within an air duct and to suck in exhaust gases produced during combustion at the combustion chamber. The sucked-in exhaust gases are reintroduced into the air duct and again fed to a combustion process in the flame tube. In this way, better utilization of the combustion gas mixture, that is to say more complete combustion, is achieved, as a result of which the pollutant content of the exhaust gases is reduced. A disadvantage of such an exhaust gas intake is the effect of stagnant and aggressive exhaust gases on surrounding aggregates, for example an oil preheater or a fuel supply line. The remaining amount of pollutants and soot after repeated combustion is still considerable.
The invention has for its object to reduce the pollutant emission, in particular with respect to ebr and CO, in an oil or gas forced-air burner, an improved protection of the burner units against aspirated exhaust gases being sought.
Durch die Abgasrezirkulation entstehen höhere Gemischtemperaturen, wodurch sich ebenfalls die Ölzerstäubung verbessertAccording to the invention, this object is achieved in that the exhaust gas duct opens into the flame tube in the area of the fuel / air / exhaust gas mixing device and is arranged essentially concentrically around the air intake duct of the flame tube in the area between the exhaust gas intake device and the mouth into the flame tube . By means of such a separate exhaust gas supply, the oil preheater, the fuel supply line and other sensitive parts are protected from increased temperature and the aggressive influence of the exhaust gases. The sucked-in exhaust gases pass through the flame tube into the combustion chamber. Exhaust gas recirculation creates higher mixture temperatures, which also improves oil atomization
In addition, exhaust gas recirculation reduces ΝΟχ and CO formation during combustion.
The exhaust gas supply immediately upstream of the mixing device brings about an improved mixing of the exhaust gas with the air within the mixing device, since the speed of the inflowing gases causes intensive swirling. Furthermore, the combustion process is forced by the increased temperature of the exhaust gas / air mixture, so that this also results in a more complete combustion with less pollution is achieved.
The exhaust gas duct surrounds the flame tube like a jacket. The mixing of the exhaust gases with the combustion air can thus take place uniformly over the entire cross section in the region of the confluence of the exhaust gas duct in the air duct, which also has a circular cross section.
The exhaust gas guide preferably has means arranged in the region of the opening into the fuel / air / exhaust gas mixing device for regulating the amount of exhaust gas flowing out. For this purpose, an externally adjustable, cylindrical slider is provided, in particular, sliding along the inner wall of the exhaust gas guide or connected to the inner wall by a thread and varying the width of at least one exhaust gas inlet opening. With this slide, the opening cross-section of the junction can be continuously and sensitively adjusted over the entire circumference of the hollow-cylindrical exhaust or air duct.
The exhaust gas intake device is preferably designed as a blower chamber of a fan-type blower, a second blower chamber being in communication with the outside air and a rotating radial partition separating the blower chambers from one another.
