Holder for exchangeable biais shields.
The invention relates to a holder for exchangeable glass signs, which allows an unlimited number of signs to be arranged directly next to one another without the ease of exchangeability being impaired.
An example embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing. Fig. 1 shows the holder in a view from the front, Fig. 2 shows a cross section of the holder, Fig. 3 shows a longitudinal section of the same in the position during the insertion of the shield, Fig. 4 shows a section along the line A-B in Fig. 3; 5 shows a longitudinal section of the holder with the shield inserted, FIG. 6 shows a view of the halberd, mounted on a switchboard and with the shield inserted.

spring back again. With the resilient part of the lower sheet, the upper sheet is connected by soldering, riveting, bending or the like. Usually the two sheets a and b lie close to one another.
If you want to attach a shield in the holder, the resilient part of the lower sheet metal strip is pushed backwards; as a result, the free end of the upper plate lifts from the plate a (Fig. 3). In this position, the shield to be attached is pushed between the longitudinal wheels of the sheet metal strip b, whereupon the pressure on the resilient part of the sheet metal a is released. Said sheet metal part is then able to spring back into its normal position, with sheet metal b coming back into contact with sheet a. The shield held between the longitudinal edges of the eMteren comes into such a position that it

edges so that it is held securely.
In order to remove the sign from the holder, the latter is brought back into the position according to FIG. 3, whereupon the sign can be easily lifted out of the longitudinal edges of the upper plate.
The attachment of the holder to a surface, to a wall, control panel or similar layer is best done by cementing. However, the putty must not bezw the entire underside of the holder. of the sheet, but only that part of it that does not need to be bent. Furthermore, the putty must be applied in such a thick layer that there is adequate space between the holder and the wall etc. to be able to bend the resilient part of the lower plate backwards by a sufficient amount (Fig. 5). If necessary, the middle section of the lower sheet metal may be pushed through somewhat backwards, so that the holder then has sufficient clearance backwards in its bendable parts even without taking into account the layer of cement.
In the latter case, the fastening can also be carried out by screwing or the like instead of cementing.
The holder can be made of zinc, brass, iron, steel, celluloid, hard rubber, wood, etc. The suspension does not need to be in the material itself, but can also be brought about by blond, resilient materials that are used at the points to be moved.
The incisions f can optionally be omitted, since the lower sheet metal strip has enough elasticity, even without the incisions, to be able to be bent due to the lack of longitudinal gears.
