Description
Nr. 391 547No. 391 547
The present invention relates to an exhaust gas duct from two concentric pipes, of which the outside fresh air leads, for burner-heated devices with a mouth closing an obliquely downward end section.
Such exhaust gas routing is known from EP-OS 190 394, the internal exhaust pipe being enclosed at a distance by an external fresh air pipe. This state of the art has the disadvantage that, due to the rise in the exhaust pipe from the device to the atmospheric mouth, condensed condensate runs back into the device or is discharged from the device through a drain arranged in front of the device.
It is therefore an object of the present invention to prevent the occurrence of such damage from the outset.
To achieve the object, at least one installation, which is arranged in the region of the mouth of the exhaust duct and is made of an absorbent material and extends at least over the bottom region of the exhaust duct, is provided. This installation results on the one hand in a storage space for condensate and on the other hand the condensate is absorbed by the installation. Since the condensate is known to occur mainly in the start-up phase of the fuel-heated device, heating of the exhaust pipe can be observed with sufficiently long running times of the device that the condensate is evaporated again. If, on the other hand, there are sufficiently long downtimes of the device, the condensate is evaporated by the circulating fresh air.
Basically, the installation according to the invention would also be possible with an exhaust gas duct without a concentric fresh air supply, but in this case the amount of condensate is so low due to the lack of cooling by the fresh air duct that one can do without installation.
In an embodiment of the invention it is proposed that the installation of pore and / or capillary-forming foam, for. B. plastic foam. This configuration results in a very inexpensive installation which is highly absorbent and which can also be retrofitted into existing exhaust gas ducts. 25 As an alternative to this, it is proposed that the installation consist of porous ceramic or mineral material. This configuration results in a design which is more temperature-resistant than the first alternative and which is stable even at higher exhaust gas temperatures.
Finally, it is particularly expedient that the installation is designed in the form of a ring and extends over the lower cross-sectional half of the mouth area of the exhaust gas duct.
Furthermore, it is particularly expedient that the installation is crescent-shaped and extends over the lower cross-sectional half of the mouth area of the exhaust gas duct. This configuration results in almost the same storage space as the alternative just mentioned, but a more streamlined version for 35 exhaust gas.
Durch diese Ausgestaltung kann bei versetzter Anordnung der Körper eine Art Labyrinth geschaffen werden, so daß ein Abfließen des Kondensats nach Erschöpfung der Stauräume zum nächsten Stauraum möglich istFinally, it is particularly expedient that the installation consists of a plurality of absorbent bodies distributed at intervals from one another over the length of an end section of the exhaust gas duct. This configuration results in several storage spaces designed one behind the other, so that the capacity for any condensate formed is increased. Finally, it is expedient that the installation consists of several bodies distributed over the circumference of the exhaust gas duct. With this configuration, a kind of labyrinth can be created with a staggered arrangement of the bodies, so that the condensate can drain to the next storage space after the storage spaces have been exhausted
45 In diesen Zeichnungen zeigenExemplary embodiments of internals designed according to the invention are illustrated in the drawings, for example. 45 Show in these drawings

B. a gas-heated water heater, with its end section in the mouth (2) in the atmosphere. This exhaust gas duct (1) runs in its end section up to the mouth (2) at an angle (a) on a slight slope, so that the condensate that forms in it does not run back into the device, but instead leads to the mouth (2). 55 This flue gas duct (1) is arranged coaxially within a combustion air duct (3) which surrounds the flue gas duct (1) and penetrates with it an outer wall (4) of a building room in which the burner-heated device is installed
Der Mündung (2) infolge des Gefälles zuströmendes Kondendat wird somit von diesem Einbau -2-In the area of the mouth (2) of the exhaust gas guide (1), an installation (5) with high effective porosity is now arranged according to the invention, which consists of a ring according to FIG. 1, the outer diameter of which corresponds to the 60 inner diameter of the cylindrical exhaust gas guide (1) and thus fits snugly against the inner wall. The condensate flowing into the mouth (2) as a result of the gradient is thus
