The invention relates to an apparatus for producing a corrugated paperboard web having a flat top layer and a corrugated layer connected flatly to the latter and parallel to the web running direction, which web is composed of individual sections, having a splicing station for connecting the rear end of the corrugated paperboard web to the front end of a section, having at least one pair of press rolls arranged transversely with respect to the advance direction of the corrugated paperboard web.
