Fuel into the combustion chamber, releasing chlorine in the form of hydrochloric acid.
If the absorbent were added to the garbage, a large part of it would be excreted unloaded through the ashes. The same thing happens when the absorbent is introduced directly into the combustion chamber, which increases the amount of ash.
However, if the absorbent has a vortex in which it has a longer residence time,
EMI2.1
at the same time the temperature for the absorption of the chlorine is not too high, the chlorine content in the flue gas is almost completely absorbed, so that the pollutant can be separated from the gas relatively easily with the solid flight part. This process is not only particularly attractive for chlorine, but it also has great advantages in the absorption of other halogens such as. B. iodine, bromine and fluorine.
In the invention, it has proven to be particularly advantageous that the absorbent is added at an acute angle --5-- to the upper secondary air supply --2 '- and the like. in such a way that the secondary air flow pushes the absorbent downwards, which means that it remains in the gas flow for longer --3-- in the vortex formed and thus has the opportunity to not only chlorinate the flue gas flow that is flowing past but also the smoke gas flows that flow past during the dwell time. The exhaust gas flow then flows through a steam generator and a separator.
The separation of the loaded absorbent from the flue gas stream can be carried out either dry in an electrostatic filter or cyclone or wet in a wet scrubber
It is particularly important for wet washers that the wet treatment of the absorbent does not break it down into its components. Particularly suitable as an absorbent
Lime, dolomite and also soda. In carrying out the invention, it is considered essential that the secondary air nozzles are used for the vortex formation over the combustion grate to swirl the absorbent. The lower secondary air is injected in such a way that the
Flue gas flow (primary air) is pushed to the feed side of the absorbent.
This distracted
Flow combined with the upper introduction of secondary air produce the mentioned swirling, as a result of which the absorbent circulating in the swirling flow is held in the hot part of the combustion chamber and the decarbonization reaction is improved compared to the known absorption process.
The limestone or dolomite is burned due to the high combustion chamber temperature. H. broken down into a metal oxide and CO, whereby water is expelled from the pores, even from the crystal structure, which has multiple effects. The grain of the sorbent is cooled or prevented from overheating, so that the surface does not immediately melt and the pores become encrusted. The pores are exposed and the surface increases, so that the metal oxide is activated and offers the pollutants in the flue gas an enlarged, chemically active surface, on which the remaining water enables a transfer of the harmful gases to the metal oxide material and leads to temperature-stable connections that do not disassemble as the temperature decreases.
