Arrangement for damping the vibrations of the moving system of signaling devices.

There are arrangements for damping the vibrations of the moving system of signal devices are known in which, for the purpose of rapid adjustment, the moving system is coupled by friction with a flywheel so that the excess energy available when initiating the signal movement at the receiver is consumed by friction on the inertial flywheel .

In contrast to this, according to the present invention, a quick and specific setting of the movable system is achieved by using the movable system
 EMI1.1
that those of the leading, moving system are disturbed by the vibrations.

One. Exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention can be seen from FIGS. 1 and 2 of the accompanying drawing. A flywheel b is rotatably mounted on the shaft a. Furthermore, this shaft a carries the signal disk r. which is firmly connected to the shaft. A spiral spring d or another elastic member is attached with its ends t and Ir on the one hand to the flywheel b and on the other hand to the signal disc c. By the stops e and f, the movement of the flywheel is compared to the
 EMI1.2
don anchor h, on which the current surges sent by the donor station act.

If the device is now switched on, bexw a signa) is given, the armature h of the movable system and with it the pointer or. the pointer disk c in motion as a result of the current surge. In doing so, disk c will swing beyond the signal position determined in it. The flywheel b is now according to the present
 EMI1.3
acts inhibiting as soon as the pointer c changes its Hewegungsrichtnng.

The natural vibrations of the oscillating body b in relation to those of the moving system can now be measured in this way. that the back and forth fluctuations in the setting have been almost completely eliminated, so that the setting to the desired signal is instantaneous.

It is readily apparent that the present invention applies to any signaling system
 EMI1.4
 is applicable.
