Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Auftragvorrichtung für Putzmittel, wie Schuhcreme und dgl., deren Kennzeichen darin besteht, dass der Auftragkörper von der Einspannstelle nach dem Rande zu eine konkav erweiterte Form besitz-t zwecks Bildung scharfer Kanten und dadurch erzielter besserer Bearbeitung der Ränder und Kanten des Schuhwerks.
Der Auftragkörper hat zweckmässig, wie im Ausführungsbeispiel dargestellt, einen Stiel oder eine sonstige Handhabe a und kann je nach Zweckmässigkeit eine oder mehrere Reibeflächen d besitzen. Bei dem gezeichneten Beispiel sind sowohl links und rechts, als auch 11m das Ende der Handhabe herumlaufend, Reibeflächen vorhanden. Die Gestaltung des Aufträgors mit den um das Stielende herumlaufenden Reibeflächen wird zweckmässig dadurch gebildet, dass man einfach eine Platte c aus Filz oder dgl. von beliebiger Form und Grösse in dem offenen Stielende befestigt.
Presst man den Filz o. dgl. an seiner Befestigungsstello zusammen, so wird er nach aussen hin naturgemäss sich bürstenartig spreizen und eine bessere Auftragfläche abgeben. Das Ausführungsbeispiel ist so gedacht, dass eine Filzplatte von z. B. 10 mm Stärke in einen im Stielende befindlichen Schlitz b von etwa 5 mm Breite hineingezwängt ist.
